I always think one of the better chicken pie found here but the standard has since dropped a little. The filling in the pie is quite little. See my picture. It would taste even nicer if they are more generous with the filling in the pie like chunks of chicken meat. I hardly taste any chicken in the pie. The crust still tasted fluffy and light. Nice to have it with coffee.

I chanced upon this stall and tried their roast pork and char siew rice. I tried it for the first time. I tried both meat and i prefer the char siew more. The char siew has been caramelized nicely that leave a layer of sweet taste over its charred surface. The meat tasted tender and nice. The roast pork did not taste as crispy as expected. The dark sauce complemented the char siew nicely and goes well with the rice too.

I go to this Wang Cafe at least a few times per week. It is within walking distance from my place. I always go there to have the curry chicken noodle and their coffee. Their curry chicken noodle is easily one of the best in Singapore. The texture of the yellow noodle tends to be a bit softer after soaked in the curry sauce for a while. The taste of the curry gravy is not very spicy. The noodle came with boiled egg, tau pok and fishcake. The portion is just nice for me.

I tried this philippines dish for the first time. This is an entirely new experience. Such a set consists of a fried egg, tomato salsa and a portion of pan fried beef strips. I was told this is commonly available in Philippines. I am glad to have a taste of philippines without going there. The beef tasted quite tender and goes well with the plain rice. The fried egg was nicely cooked too. The tomato salsa tasted just normal. It was a pleasant experience but i doubt i want it for more.

Hans has always been an old favourite to hangout with family and friends. An usual favourite to order here has always been their grilled chicken chop. I have asked to replace the boiled carrots with additional french fries. The chicken chop has grilled to perfection to give it a nice smoky flavor. It is then served with their special mushroom to further enhance the taste. It is good to eat on its own even without the usual chilli or tomato sauce.
