bread! Smile Aug 13, 2012

Categories : Bakery

This is my favourite bread from this bakery. There are a variety to choose from ranging from otah, char siew and hot dog. I always pick the hot dog buns. There are 5 hot dog buns in the pack and it costs $2.40 for it. The hot dog buns are kind of addictive and once you eat one, you will feel like eating the second one and third one. It makes for a good breakfast in the morning. A simple and nice breakfast to kick start your day.

refreshing yakult green tea Smile Aug 13, 2012

After shopping at bugis street, i always pop by to bugis + to enjoy the air con and also to get my favourite koi milk tea. As yakult green tea has been my new favourite now, i decided to get that to quench my thirst. It is really nice and refreshing to have that on a hot and sunny day. They are also very generous with their pearls and despite it being a saturday afternoon and there was a lot of people, i only had to wait for 10 mins for my drinks to be ready.

mixed rice Smile Aug 13, 2012

Chanced upon this cafeteria at the end of the arcade. Decided to join the queue for the mixed rice, there wasn't much variety of dishes to choose from so i had to make do with the eggs with vege, steamed egg tofu. The lady who was taking my order was telling me to choose one more braised egg or maybe a slice of the tofu to round it up to $3 and i thought ok i will get the tofu then. I think it is very cheap and value for money as they really give a lot of the dish to you. The rice was lesser than what i had expected but it is okay, better to have more dishes than more rice right. Will be back to try the other stalls at the cafeteria then.

milk pan bread Smile Aug 13, 2012

Having heard recommendations by my friend that this bread is a must try, I decided to get it for myself for breakfast the next day. I love how fluffy the bread is and it is also very soft. Once you bite into it, you can taste the milk inside the bread oozing out. It is really fragrant and it leaves you wanting for more of it. At the price of $1.50 for one, i think it is quite worth it as the taste of it is unique. There are also seats for you at this outlet to rest your feet and also to enjoy their tasty buns as well. If not for the more expensive pricing of their buns, i think i would have patronize provence more often.

nice crispy chicken Smile Aug 13, 2012

There wasn't much food choices to choose from at ion basement as they are currently doing renovations there. As we have not eaten bon chon crispy chicken for quite some time, we decided to go for it. Me and my friend shared the 6 piece chicken at $7.95. You are able to choose if you want spicy or soy garlic or if you can't decide you can go for the mix one. I took the mix one in the end as i wanted to have the best of both worlds. It was really nice and addictive. I think the next time i would want to go for the 12 piece chicken as i think it would be more value for money.
