cold cut trio Smile Mar 25, 2011

Decided to eat subway since I had cravings for it. There wasn't really a queue since it was off peak hours.

My favourite subway would be Subway Melt consisting of italian bread, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers topped with mayonnaise. It just taste awesome.

The outlet is quite quiet and i really like it because I actually spend quite some time there to do a bit of studying and they did not chase me away too.

Service was ok too and when i asked for more lettuce to be added to my subway, they were ok with it too instead of some other outlets that has servers who add so little lettuce to my subway.

I love subway!!

Although it was already past lunch time when i came to vivocity's kopitiam for lunch, a fairly short queue could still be seen at this ban mian stall. Thinking it must be good so i went to join the queue instead.

Ordered the you mian which costs only $3.50, had to wait for quite a while as the person was quite slow in cooking it.

The soup was quite nice, they were generous with their vegetables too and it was quite a large portion that kept me full.

Service was good too and courteous as well.

Spending per head: Approximately $3.50

Tucked away at china town point, this swensens outlet is a little small compared to the other outlets around in singapore.

went in to eat for dinner and service was prompt. had a tough time deciding what to order and in the end still decided to order the popular and recommended one which is chicken cutlet and fish and chips.

Our food came quite hot and i love the fish and chips more actually. their portion are quite huge actually! so i think it was really value for money.

came here to eat as a celebration for my birthday. ordered the pineapple fried rice and their pad thai! as we went around 8pm, service was quite prompt and they served us ice water immediately as well.

the pineapple fried rice came first, it was quite delicious as their seafood are fresh as well. one thing i must comment about is that their serving is really huge. next was the pad thai, their serving was huge as well and i really like it especially when it is served piping hot!

have seen the other customers trying the steamboat. seems quite worth it as the price is reasonable as well. would love to try that the next time i come to dine in at go thai.

Had tze char here for dinner few weeks back and ordered a few dishes such as their specialty tofu, sweet and sour pork, sambal kang kong, black pepper beef. The dishes came quite quickly around 10 minutes later. I like the sambal kang kong as it was just nice and not too spicy for me. Their specialty tofu is also very unique and it comes with a sauce and once you dip it with the tofu it tastes very nice. The sweet and sour pork is quite average but still one of my favourite dish. The black pepper beef was equally good too. Prices were reasonable as well.
