favourite! Smile Aug 13, 2012

It has been almost 4 months since i last eaten my favourite hokkien prawn mee at this stall thus i am back once again for it. Although it is very oily so i try not to have it too often but sometimes i still crave for it a lot. The owner is very generous with the portion and with $3, you are able to fill your tummy with one packet of this. I always request not to include sotong in mine as i do not like to eat sotong. Best is to mix the chili and the noodles together to eat it and it will be perfect! Come early to get it too as by 6.30pm on weekends, there will usually be a queue formed already.

As we were around the vincinity, we dropped by to try out the beancurd here. It is my second time visiting rochor beancurd. Ordered the bean curd and also the soya milk drink and one you tiao. I love the you tiao the most because it is so crispy, although it is not hot anymore but it still retains its crispiness and also it is not very oily too. I was not really impressed with the bean curd, maybe because i am too used to eating the lao ban beancurd recently and has grown to prefer the lao ban kind of beancurd but the soya bean milk was great!

bread! Smile Aug 13, 2012

This is my favourite bread from this bakery. There are a variety to choose from ranging from otah, char siew and hot dog. I always pick the hot dog buns. There are 5 hot dog buns in the pack and it costs $2.40 for it. The hot dog buns are kind of addictive and once you eat one, you will feel like eating the second one and third one. It makes for a good breakfast in the morning. A simple and nice breakfast to kick start your day.

After shopping at bugis street, i always pop by to bugis + to enjoy the air con and also to get my favourite koi milk tea. As yakult green tea has been my new favourite now, i decided to get that to quench my thirst. It is really nice and refreshing to have that on a hot and sunny day. They are also very generous with their pearls and despite it being a saturday afternoon and there was a lot of people, i only had to wait for 10 mins for my drinks to be ready.

mixed rice Smile Aug 13, 2012

Chanced upon this cafeteria at the end of the arcade. Decided to join the queue for the mixed rice, there wasn't much variety of dishes to choose from so i had to make do with the eggs with vege, steamed egg tofu. The lady who was taking my order was telling me to choose one more braised egg or maybe a slice of the tofu to round it up to $3 and i thought ok i will get the tofu then. I think it is very cheap and value for money as they really give a lot of the dish to you. The rice was lesser than what i had expected but it is okay, better to have more dishes than more rice right. Will be back to try the other stalls at the cafeteria then.
