Walking through Kampong Glam neighbourhood, saw a contemporary white interior designed cafe. On the next coming week, i was brought by my boy to try out this cafe that very different from others. It is very English. Why do i say that ? Revert back to Quoted line on the wall;
" You can't buy happiness but you can buy tea. And that's kind of the same thing "

A cozy bistro, Hyde & Co besides known for their high teas and crumptes, they also have Brunch Menu, that is soemthing different from others cafe that we shall try

Hawaiian Pulled Pork Tartine

Not much sure why the pulled pork is called as ten hour cooked pulled pork. Does it mean need 10 hours to cook this meat ? What i am sure is, it was inviting especially when it together with juicy sweet caramelized pineapple. The topped side of sweet potato chips make the food more appetizing.

The Full Works

Though it was not my first time saw a big mushroom, yet it was surprising when i saw a big mushroom served in the plate. That is what we called as Portobello Mushroom. The large Crimini mushroom was nice baked with cheese. Meat was firm and scrummy. As usual bacon is always salty! But its streaky bacon was just nice eating it with crunchy bread.

Criollo Cocoa Cafe located at Orchard Gateway, at quite corner, overlooking Orchard Road.
It is a quiet and ideal place to sip in coffee in town. If you need a silence place to cool dow or write something, it would be a perfect cafe. It is also a good cafe for studying while enjoying their specials student offer. Menu is shown as per below

Adorned by glass window and facing down to Orchard Road, you can people - watch, feel the fresh ambience and relax your mind.

Look at the Latte !! smile It's so cute. Enjoyed the latte and view much.
Thank You Criollo Cocoa Cafe staff for drawing its latte.

You can also purchase the Tea Sachet / box from them

As a cake lover, i was attracted by the adorable Rainbow Cake.

Piperade

Served as a strong fusion of middle eastern food, its dishes is also known as from Europe. Bread is crusty and its Baked egg dish was nice served as a entree for a small course with bacon and number of healthy vegetable such as onions, green peppers, and stewed tomatoes.

Portobello Mushroom Burger.

The burger was average and nothing much special except its tasty cheese and juicy portobello.  Light Brioche bun was nice to use for its burger that served with Portobello
Mushroom, grilled onion and capsicum, lettuce, and tomato. The fries was too salty with too much salt

Seafood Laksa Pasta

Favorite dish of the day! When i rolled the spaghetti with the fork, I could sense the familiar aroma of its heavens laksa. Gravy was thick and rich to form its spaghetti and seafood base with laksa flavor. Prawn is big and fresh in a special laksa sauce

Waffle with Fresh Fruits

End of the meal with favorite dessert, Waffle. Waffle was light with non-heavy butter sense. Delightful Waffle with the maple syrup and ice cream. Enjoyed the fruits much on top of its waffle

New Revamp Menu Harry's bar OK May 31, 2015
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant | Steaks and Grills | Burgers and Sandwiches

From time to time, we heard about Harry's. It has grown become a well established bar and dining place for beers, extensive selection of wines and stylish cocktails.

Recently Harry's has opened a New Outlet at Clarke Quay on 1st May 2015 and more awesome with the launch of new revamp Food Menu !.

Proudly to announce that now Harry's not only a place for drinking but also offering 50 over International selection of Food, prepared by their culinary teams.

Blog Review : http://cennds.blogspot.com/2015/05/food-review-new-revamp-menu-harrys-bar.html

Food Menu is divided into different section from finger foods to desserts.

Let's Start with Beer And Small Plates

Harry's Premium Lager ( HPL )

Since Harry's is known as a well established bar, we shouldn't left out with their Signature Beer of Draught. Cheers with HPL ! ($13) It is not as gassy as other beers and lesser bitter

Fish Cracklings

Crunchy Crunchy !! Crackling of eel fish at the price of $13 per serving, tossed with their own spices mix and served with aioli, savory garlic mayonnaise.
The best part is no fishy or unfavorable smell founded.

Crab and Potato Cakes

It is not a cakes of dessert but it is a blue swimmer crab and potato cakes with a light crunch, served with a delightful home blended tomato dip. Texture is soft enough and could be your choice of an easy and convenient fingers food at $19 for 6 pcs

Harry's Signature Wings

Harry's Small Plates Signature of crispy wings, dressed in a secret spice and served with a sauce that tasted like a sambal belacan but it was not exactly a sambal belacan.
In fact it is Harry' unique homemade chili jam which tends o be more spicy.
All time favorites at the price of $13 for 6 pcs, $19 for 10 pcs

Platters for Sharing

Japaleno Steak Sliders

A little sharing with friends and families ($13).
A Grilled steak that cut into a small slice of beef for a juicy slider burger with a charred bell peppers and jalaperio cheese sauce which you give you the heat of the burger instead of spicy

Big Plates and Signature Cocktail

Like the structured Menu and the way they serve the Menu Tasting.
At different type of food section, different drink is served to suit for the every taste.

Dirty Harry

Enjoy a refreshing glass of Signature Cocktails of vodka built with brown sugar and lychee liqueur for a flavored fruits and desire touch of lime wedges ($16).
One of my favorite drinks at the night.

Chicken Masala

If you visit an Indian food, masala would be always founded in their menu.
It is a combination of spice blended in Indian Term.
Nonetheless, it is not a curry but a spiced gravy for the grilled smokey chicken that cook together with their own marinated sauce. ($23)
The toasted Charcoal bread is great to soak at the flavourful and unique pot of Chicken Masala.

Crabmeat Spaghettini

Tossed Spaghettini with fresh handpicked crab meat in tomato sauce, pine nuts and fresh chili cuts. Tough it is warned with a chili sign, but the spiciness is really not much. The spaghettini was not savory enough and too watery. ( $23 )

Come to End of Dessert

Toffee Apple Crisp Tart

Perfect treats for sweet craving with glass of Fruity Moscato ($13.50). A lovely crush pastry topped with thin sliced apple, spread with a mouth watering salted caramel and vanilla ice cream for extra satisfaction ($14)

Recommended Dish(es):  Harry's Signature Wings,Crab and potato cakes

Date of Visit: May 28, 2015

Spending per head: Approximately $30

Sushi Tei Outing Dinner Smile Dec 08, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

Since i have been quite a long time not eating sushi so while organizing dinner outing with my clique, i suggested to go to Sushi Tei. The ambience at west coast plaza is very cozy and warmth. Upon reaching the place, thanks it was not a peak time yet so there was no queue.

More review on my blog = http://cends.blogspot.com

Tempura Cold Soba

Cold noodle chilled with ice cube. Ice cube was founded inside the soba when i digged the soba. Tempura was fresh but it was a bit too oily.

Fried Salmon Belly

The number of salmon belly of its red plate is quite a lot and we ate it till too fully due to the oilness as well. Rest assured with non-smelly smell but it was not crispy enough.

Pork Katsu Don

Katsun don is a popular japanese food. Served with bowl of japanese rice topped with a deep - fried pork cutlet, egg and condiments. the pork cutlet / tonkatsu was filled with enough meat. definitely would serve as an appetizing emal

Soba with Salmon

It is not a cold soba with the referring to first dish. Nonetheless, it is still a noodle. Same taste and type except it is not a cold type. Salmon is fresh and nice to eat together with the soba and the soup for its soba.

The served soba may be quite dry, shall put the soup/sauce to release the driness.

Dumpling
Dumpling was a bit dry and over fried. But ingredients wrapped in dumpling was reasonable.

Spending per head: Approximately $20

Dinner : Billy Bombers Smile Nov 27, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : American | Restaurant | Steaks and Grills | Burgers and Sandwiches

It was an heavy raining day and we were looking for dinner at Jurong Point .
While walking around Jurong Point with a bunch of hunger girls, we saw a quiet restaurant, full empty seat and no-queue at all.

Blog review : http://cennds.blogspot.jp/2013/11/billy-bombers.html

Since we have heard a good review of this American restaurant, so without thinking so much. We walked into the restaurant and welcomed by their staff with a pleasant greetings.

We enjoyed much of the peaceful and cozy ambience.
On top of it, we were impressed by an excellent service served by their supervsior @ Marryane. So, we wrote a feedback form for her compliments.

Texas Crispy Chicken

A Big serving of fried chicken. No doubt to eat this fried food because it was not so oily, and i think that they use a fresh new oil. Meaning that not those re-use cooked oil to fried the chicken. The meat was tender enough and love the crispy skin at outside

Premium Fish & Fries

The level of oil is also the same as the Texas Crispy Chicken. Not too oily which i am always worried to eat oily and fried food. But it makes me convenient to have a bite on it. The fish was smell, no smelly smell founded on this crispy fish.

Supplementary Information:
The price range is not so cheap , it is from $15 onwards
