Searching through google to look for Dim Sum places and we found there was a Dim Sum buffet at Swatou Seafood Restaurant . The Dim Sum is only available during High Tea Time.
The place is located behind the HDB and we almost lost out track.

Review on my blog : http://cennds.blogspot.com

There are variety of dishes to eat and to pick but most of the food contains of PRAWN. It is advantage for prawn/shrimp lover but it will be a negative side for those have an allergic on prawn. Although i don't have allergic on it but since most of the food have prawn, we ate till quite afraid of their dishes especially if we saw a prawn.

However, the food quality is not bad and flavoursome

Prawn Dumpling

Prawn is fresh and wrapped with a soft skin dumpling

Bai Khu

Although it is a bit oily but it was delighted and well cooked with a great cooking sauce for pork.

Mushroom + Prawn Siew Mai

Great to have the mushroom on its home-made siew mai which i think that it is quite special because of the Siew Mai we eat at Dim Sum places, there is no mushroom added in the Siew Mai

Fried Bean Curd Skin Roll with Shrimp

Small pieces of shrimp wrapped in a crispy bean curd. Thanks that it was not oily and well supported texture

Egg Tart

Lovely the crispy tart and well soft textured.

Crispy Durian & Shrimp Roll

Waow ..It was my first time having dimsum contains of durian. Are you durian lover ? If yes, you should try it. Seldom there is a DimSum place, offer DimSum contains of Durian

Xiao Long Bao

What a awesome dish that couldn't be missed out during Dim Sum. Apparently, it was appetizing and well served

Mango Pudding and Tofu Pudding

A well spended dessert of DimSum because i have been a long time i never touch on tofu pudding.  The tofu was just nice and very soft while mango pudding is a bit plain

Heading to Raffles City for dinner but most of the restaurant were either fully seated or long queue. We were a hungry ghost, then it was impossible for us to queue on those long queue restaurant. Went down to City Link Mall and found out there was a Bistro / a Bar.

Mezze Bistro Bar is part of The Society Group, the offered menu share the same vision as Prime Society and The Society Bar. On top of it, it is a place to enjoy a different drinking
experience after working hours. It is a quiter place and quality of drink and food itself, promise a memorable dinner and night.

Chef selection

A big portion of starter with everything is fried. Served with french fries, fried chickens, and big claims. Everything is nice except for the claim !! Sorry, we don't like the claim due to the smelly smell and not fresh enough.

Salad

It is served with long bean topped with egg and ham. The Ham was quite salty but the bean was well cooked.

Carbonara Spaghetti

Another Big Round of Plate beside the Chef Selection. It is a "must try " and damn nice spaghetti served with half boil egg, Cheese & Roasted Ham.

A few option of flavours such as :
-Strawberry #pink "
-Natural #white"

and a variety of accessories for pancake customisation toppings such as marshmallow , m&m , fruit , etc

Tips for DIY a successful and edible pancake :
1. When the staff adjust the heat too high, you can lower it down to prevent the burnt process.
2. Make your pancake thicker hence when we flip it into another side , it won't be spoiled
3. When you lower down the heat, and it is too lower. Adjust it a bit in order for your pancake could be ready to served in a short time
4. Don't shake your hand when you make the design
5. Put butter on it if you feel the pan is dry
6. When you flip it into another side, slowly flip it . Don't be rushed
7. Watch the timing for your pancake . it not it will become "chao ta" !!

Steps DIY Pancakes :

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

Since i have been quite a long time not eating sushi so while organizing dinner outing with my clique, i suggested to go to Sushi Tei. The ambience at west coast plaza is very cozy and warmth. Upon reaching the place, thanks it was not a peak time yet so there was no queue.

Tempura Cold Soba

Cold noodle chilled with ice cube. Ice cube was founded inside the soba when i digged the soba. Tempura was fresh but it was a bit too oily.

Fried Salmon Belly

The number of salmon belly of its red plate is quite a lot and we ate it till too fully due to the oilness as well. Rest assured with non-smelly smell but it was not crispy enough.

Pork Katsu Don

Katsun don is a popular japanese food. Served with bowl of japanese rice topped with a deep - fried pork cutlet, egg and condiments. the pork cutlet / tonkatsu was filled with enough meat. definitely would serve as an appetizing emal

Soba with Salmon

It is not a cold soba with the referring to first dish. Nonetheless, it is still a noodle. Same taste and type except it is not a cold type. Salmon is fresh and nice to eat together with the soba and the soup for its soba.

The served soba may be quite dry, shall put the soup/sauce to release the driness.

Dumpling
Dumpling was a bit dry and over fried. But ingredients wrapped in dumpling was reasonable.

Blog review : http//cennds.blogspot.com

Finally, the day's craving of Dim Sum Buffet had reached. Googling through their website to find out their price and opening day. We just knew that, it opens for both weekday and weekends and weekends buffet is more expensive .. Special menu of Dim Sum is only available on weekends

Be cautious : Don't wastage your food, if you don't want to pay for it.

They have some food placed in the center of the restaurant for everyone to take such as Laksa, Dessert , Fried Chicken , Duck Wings, Seong Kueh, and drink offruit punch drink as

They offer quite a variety of choice. But too pity that they don't have Custard Bun ( Liu Sha Bao ), one of my favorite dimsum. Besides, Liu Sha Bao 流沙包, Xiao long bao is one of my favorite too. oo bad , their Xiao Long Bao doesn't really taste good, seems too dry a

Their Har Gow ( Shrimp Dumpling ) and Siomay are delicious. Anyway , if you order a bun ..I advice you to eat it once it serve on your table to Don't let it keep too long if you don't want eat a stone ...
