Being a fan of awfully chocolate's ice cream, I have never fail to get a scoop whenever I patronize the store. However, I wanted to try something else this time round and i ordered the creme brulee. To my utmost disappointment, it tasted quite bad. I have expected the custard to be covered with a thin layer of sugar crust but there was none. I assumed the sugar had melted and thus blended together with the custard. The custard on the other hand tasted like gelatin. I thought the texture is supposed to be slightly softer.

It has been a long time since I've patronized this beancurd store again. With the rise of all the other popular beancurds like 'lao ban' and 'rochor beancurd', I'm not sure if they have affected the business here. In the past, i had a hard time finding seats during late nights, but last friday at about 11pm+, i could easily find some seats outside the shop. I ordered a tau huay and realized that the taste was slightly different. It was quite bland. I hope their standard won't drop as I've been eating their tau huay for many years.

I had my dinner at LENAs. Ordered a main dish and a green tea macha. I realized that the tea very awful and sour, thus I asked the waiter to add in more water. It didn't really help to smooth-en out the sour taste, hence I had to painfully finished half the glass so as not to waste my money! Will not order this drink again and definitely will not recommend this to anyone.

Bf loves to try out new places to eat and hence we came to dine at this restaurant in the far west! Bf ordered a fish & chips and we were shocked when the dish came. He said it was exactly like 'fish finger' (u can do an image search of that in google to have a look for yourself ). And what's worst was that it was over fried on the skin and soggy within. (we suspected that it was fried before defreezing properly, or maybe fried immediately after being taken out from the freezer.)

I ordered a watermelon juice and what came was 90% water + 10% watermelon. I wonder how the other diners can still dine normally at the restaurant. (fyi, most of them were foreigners) Well, maybe the taste of the food suits the foreigners than the locals? i dont know.

Me and family chanced upon this dessert cafe while at the basement of Tamp 1. The poster at the entrance looks good at depicting all the various chinese desserts so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a bowl of almond paste and a bowl of glutinous choco mango. I'm not sure how the almond paste tasted like cuz dad ate that. But for the glutinous choco mango, i'm utterly disappointed with it. I didnt know how much it costs as i didnt pay for it. When i heard that it costed $5.30, i got a SHOCK of my life. To bring justification to the bowl of dessert, just take a look at my pictures. Not sure if the glutinous rice is supposed to stick so tightly to each other (like long lost lovers). And next, the mango cubes were sweet and it just goes wrong with the sour taste (like pomelo kind of sour) in the blended ice. And also, the blended ice wasnt really that well 'blended'. I found chunks of ice and i just didnt want to break them into tiny pieces with my spoon. I've left a feedback form on their table before leaving and hope they will do something about the quality of their desserts.
