buy one get one coolatta Cry Jan 21, 2012

The Dunkin Coollata poster to buy and get one free was tempting me and fortunately, my friend to share.

Having selections of 4 different flavors, from blue colored berry to coffee, it was a surprise to not find 'chocolate coolatta' at all, after I asked so too.

In the end it was both coffee flavored for us. Compared to the DD in Indonesia, this one was much more watery and was too sweet for coffee, I ended up even more sleepy thereafter due to the high sugar levels! It was still a refreshing cool drink but I guess the taste was drowned in water...

Even if its in promo, it's not even the worth! Should make it more richer like how delicious it is back home in chocolate chip flavor!mad

One should know to make such business in the service industry. The food may be edible, good, or excellent that I could lick the plate over without any shame, but when the service lags badly because of one particular staff you might have missed to train, the entire experience of eating just drops down the drain.

To the service girl named Joan. By bumping into us without saying a word of sorry, scolding us instead of answering a simple question of "how long more do we have to wait, are there available tables yet" and slamming the chair and menus on our table, we are clearly not impressed.

You've messed with the wrong group of people where we have worked ourselves in this service industry.

Our meal came late as well, as it was fully loaded with a lot of people on this weekday evening was heavily packed for real. We queued for almost an hour straight with patience.

Chicken wings however were a bit of a cure, with sprinkles of pepper and salt, and it was tender and juicy.

Furious, we filled in the feedback form and personally gave it to the manager but yet she was also so busy that she didn't have time to even read. We left with rambling after Joan, but that doesn't mean its the entire team's fault. Only to that particular waitress that you probably didn't listen to your training well...sad

balls on a stick Cry Jan 10, 2012
Categories : Korean

Than the usual order of the potato sausage which is a thumbs up, chopstick the balls on the stick was priced $2.80 for 3 which enticed me to take that rather than the latter.

However, as it is a snack but nothing of sort to represent Korean street snacks whatsoever, the balls were most likely made of flour and wonder flour to make it quishy, and tasteless with the fried bread crumb layer, the only flavors were made from the hefty amount of squirt from the mayo, chilli and tomato ketchup filling the entire plastic. It's only as a mere snack to bite off and serving nothing else to dream off your tongue.

oily moily snack Cry Mar 19, 2011
Categories : Korean

In continuation of that unfull Japanese dinner, I went in search for a snack. It's my first time trying and I guess to satisfy some sweet tooth, pumpkin was safe enough to be healthy and also filling.

Turns out that it's taken out from the freezer then they heated up with heeeeaps of oil shocked then after a while of tossing up and down its given. The taste? The skin was rough and hard without any taste and it was so greasy, it only was to serve the inside which was the pumpkin cream - sweet and quite nice filling.

So in the end I only pressed out the cream and left the skin out since it's no use, only giving extra junk to my tummy. Not trying again for this kind...

That was the response from the uncle when I ask for more gravy. I ordered a normal set A portion for $2, and instead of the usual egg, sausage or chicken wing or so, this nasi lemak (or rather it was just plain rice too) is given the cold chopped vegetables, chopped chicken bits like the popcorn kind instead of a wing, and the chilli.

It was just OK, compared to the famous green pandan rice stall in the other avenue, this one is just a waste of your calorie wallet. Only something to fill in your tummy, it gives a bigger portion than that other stall tongue
