softness when you bite Smile Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Bakery

For a bite or two, just passed coincidentally with this bread shop. I've never tried it before but it was around PP anyways. So I bought myself muffins, and the one here in the picture is a blueberry muffin. How pleased I'm to say that when i bought it it was still warm, and when I bite into it, it was sooooo soft!

The fragrance is mild but there, and the taste of blueberry is quite rich in the dough. Really good for this simple muffin!

succulent tonkatsu oh katsu Smile Mar 31, 2011

The succulent pork katsu is what you must try here. The winner from the rest of the pork katsu I've tried, Tonkichi is seriously giving a addictive headache in the golden crisp on the outside and a real soft bite on the inside.

Well, do be reminded of this motto forever. Tonkatsu = Tonkichi. Period. Theres' no best place to try the popular dish from Japan, breaded pork patty and either with cheese, curry, etc. of the restaurant gives and the hot piping rice and miso soup, Tonkichi is simply the best!

Don't have to elaborate anything, they're theeee best.

seafood hor fun! Smile Mar 31, 2011

Seafood hor fun has never been this delectable! With squid and really big hor fun pieces and a lot of soup that's mixed with egg. Well, although the soup was actually more watery than expected - I like mine a bit more gooey and stickey, the taste was just nice with another add of vinegar to give a sour zinggggg. The noodles were a bit burnt on a few of them but it's actually nicer that way to give the crunch to the edge! It was a nice dinner as I was starving so maybe it was really good overall!

pink paradise Smile Mar 31, 2011

I had online voucher offer for 50% so it was a really good deal to have two bowls for the price of one! I ordered one of their said-famous mix, the paradise something for the name. There are many different tastes for their shaved ice, from rose (which is for my creation here, thats why it's all pinkish), chocolate, matcha which is the most famous, and many more!

Mine was with cold mochi, rose ice shave and dark chocolate syrup.

On a really hot day, it was great! However gotta say that I expected more on the syrup as it wasn't dark at all - it was most likely only the chocolate carnation drizzle and it was given in such a small bit the mochi was empowering the sweet taste. The rose taste is very mild and soft!
the mochi!

the mochi!

Chicken Chop Smile Mar 31, 2011
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Food Court | Roasted Meat

They say that this is better than Shihlin. I tried the usual uber popular Fried Curry Chicken Rice ($4.50) and the crisp of the chicken and the curry has much of a powerful punch because it was more spicy than them, but I still do say the Shihlin is better! tongue

However the portion was quite generous, definitely full to the brim of your tummy! It comes with a piece of egg and covered in the curry sauce.
