The awesome lunch set for only $11 that includes a ramen bowl, fried rice, chicken katsu, and the refillable ice matcha tea. OMG Simply superbbbbbbb, total bang for your buck and the taste is definitely better than Yoshinoya and you get so much more. mad

It comes after a while so you have to wait. But the fried rice was really good, although I know its not exactly the real japanese rice, the taste was oily nice - you could feel each bit of rice.

You could choose the ramen soup base and which meat. Total customization - perfect to eat like a queen for brunch lunch and skipping the rest till eating like a pauper for dinner!

beautiful and healthy bread is created by the chef maestros mostly from japan, and the breads from this store is not only pretty in its looks but also in the heavenly taste for the cakes!

I bought myself a chocolate croissant with some green stuff on top for $2 I forgot and since i was hungry I didnt manage to take a photo of it. It was in my tummy so shall I take a photo of my tummy instead of how satisfied it is? tongue

The chocolate inside is dark, so the noir chocolate taste is really rich, tad sour but just perfect - could taste that it's 100% chocolate and they don't mix with any other ingredient to kind of fill the whole thing like other mass baked breads. The chocolate fill is super super super super super good and the croissant, you could fill the layers of croissant. Super!

OK since OR is doing this first to review thing, I must scour out instead of the one in Central with a long Q, decided to come here and voila! It wasn't so bad in the Q and manage to get our ramen bowl faster.

Trying the vegetable this time, with me being half vegetarian for this lent season although sorry for the soup but its still just liquid so I think it should be still OK tongue

There's not much difference thank goodness, veggie or with chasiu! Ho ho ho Although the soft pork meat is just grrrreaaaaat. I was so hungry I took the photo midway. tongue

Taste-wise its the same so you can expect the same standard for Marutama anywhere.

To my surprise, itacho appeared since when in Bugis junction?!

I thought it was only in ION, so when my friend wanted sushi, we were stuck between sakae sushi and itacho. seeing that both had Qs, we settled for Itacho which also had a Q but hey, doesn't this restaurant always get good reviews and theres so many people coming in to Q for such a long time? This was my first time and luckily, compared to the Q in ION, this was much more human since the place was also smaller than ION.

It was small and has very limited space, something I dislike about the resto. Quite cramp and got no space for me to put my stuff if I take a 2seater table.

We tried the pretty thing spicy salmon with beancurd stick w mayonnaise ($1.60), salmon spring roll ($3) and california hand roll of a many few.

First, the spicy salmon w beancurd, ISN'T spicy. Hahaha and the taste was just OK, nothing special nor tasteful.

Salmon spring roll is a total asian fuse! This is a must-try, it has a zing of fresh taste, perhaps lime in the sauce, with a delectable crunch of the skin and inner vegetable. Really beautiful as well in the presentation, kirei kirei!

The california hand roll, well all rolls are quite a hassle to eat. The vegetables say, are fresh enough since it was still crunchy. As expected.

Mr Fries and the Dips Smile Dec 18, 2010   (Related Review)

The promised photos of the previous post - I found the photos!

So, this is how big the french fries was - a whole bowl for $2!!!! Straight shoelace cut fried to crisp perfection, it's all yummy good!

The BBQ sauce for the meat, which my friend preferred to not use I'm not sure why, is sweet with a pang of black pepper. Works well too with the fries as a dip. Scrambled eggs are already cold when served. For people who prefers their meal hot hot hot, maybe it's best to ask them to have fresh scrambled eggs or re-heat.

Cookeeatmonster, hunting for the worthy places of bringing your monstrous appetite.
