Went to Suki Sushi Nihon Mura for their sushi buffet.

I have went there 4 times so far & I have seen great improvement in their standards.

The first time I went, the food was mediocre.

2nd time I went,the sashimi was horrible.
It wasn't fresh at all & because of that the manager actually asked us to pay for the sashimi that we didnt eat.She was really unreasonable.

& the 3rd & 4th time I went.

I went home a happy girl.
The standard have improved drastically & the manager wasn't the rude lady anymore.

Service wise,they are pretty ok.
Need to give them some time to get back to you as they are really busy.

The 3rd time I went, they had this international premium selection & we tried the salmon.
It was pretty good.

& this time, they further expand their menu to include not only international premium selection, they have international dessert as well!Including creme brulee, some orange chocolate mousse, egg tart, peach tart & apple crumble.

For international premium dishes, they even have foix gras( duck liver) as well!

The standard of sashimi improved alot.It was fresh & we actually ordered 8 plates of it.
8x6=48
48 slices of salmon sashimi & 2 tuna sashimi as we are not a fan of tuna sashimi.

The apple crumble was really good. The pastry was really soft!!Thinking about it makes me want to go back there again. It was really satisfying dining there.

Those which I include in the photos are the dishes that I really like.I really like the mussels as well.

For the price, you cant compare to high class japanese food but it's really worth it.
Definitely a place recommended to students & people who just want to hang out chill, enjoy japanese food.

Yummy Trattoria - Italian Kitchen Smile Jun 26, 2011

Categories : Italian | Restaurant | Pasta | Pizza

Went to Trattoria - Italian Kitchen yesterday for dinner.
We wanted to eat pasta & decided to go there to try.
The restaurant was pretty crowded.
The ambience was relaxing & the service was good.
One of the waitress actually asked us if we wanted chilli flakes & tobasco sauce for our pasta which we gladly said yes.

We both ordered Seafood Marinara which was $19.90 & a coke light.
Total bill amounted to $52.00.

Pasta was great.Sauce was good.
But one thing we felt disappointed was the mussels they use.
For the price we paid,I thought we would be given big green shell mussels but we were given the black mussels which were of poorer quality.

Nonetheless,we enjoyed the meal.
We saw alot of people ordering panini as well as their pizza!
The pizza looks delicious!
Will order pizza on our next visit there!
Portion wise was big.
Being regular buffet lover in the past.
The portion was really filling.
The pasta has prawns,vongola calms,mussels & sotong.

Really yummy!

Will definitely go back again.

Went to outback steak house because of this promotion online for Valentine Day.
We purchased the vouchers & was only able to choose a few of their dishes.
I choose beef chunks & my boyfriend chose some fish dish.
Honestly these 2 dishes aren't good at all.
Instead we really love the soup & the salad. The salad actually converted my boyfriend who is a anti salad guy into salad lover.Quite amazing.
The beef chunks were pretty normal. Not very flavourful. The fish fillet was normal as well.
Despite that,I heard from my colleague that their fried mushrooms are amazing.
Definitely love the ambience though.
Will go there to try other dishes & give a fairer review next time

Swensen's have been famous for their dessert & it's so true.

My family have been a dedicated lover for Swensen's for a really long time.

My parents being vegetarian opt for omelette or their baked vegetable rice.

& we always choose their chicken dishes.

However, on this day,we decide to have their dessert.
Their must try dessert are the sticky chewy chocolate fudge.

My father always order their banana split.

Somehow I will never get bored of their ice creams!

The indulgence chocolate fudge syrup with the chocolate balls.Yummy whip cream, great texture!

I was really surprised by the variety of vegetarian food there!
They had laksa(super spicy!),chicken rice(pretty normal).
They had lok lok, sushi, ice cream, hot dessert.cakes.Different vegetables & vegetarian stuff.
Both my parents are vegetarian so they were really surprised when I bring them there for a treat!
They really loved the variety & food there.
Lotus Vegetarian also had steamboat during weekday as well.
We have not tried the steamboat yet.
When we were there,we were led to our seats promptly.
Something that caught my eyes was the vast variety of tea.
They had chinese tea, melon tea etc.
Really great after a full meal.
They had satay & plenty of other dishes that you wouldn't be bored of!
They have also vegetarian dim sum as well.
On the day that I went,it was almost full house.I had to take one of the last two tables when I called to make reservation!
Will definitely bring my parents there again for perhaps the steamboat.
