Saw this promotion awhile ago & we decided to try it.

The whole buffet was pretty disappointing.
The pasta wasnt really good.very average.
Additional charge have to be given for the pizza.
The cheese fondue was great.
Chocolate fondue was normal.
The pancake were served with either savoury side dish or sweet.
I tried the savoury ones & the pairing tasted weird.
Preferred it with chocolate sauce & ice cream.

They had this ice blended section & the ice wasnt blend finely.
feels like ice kachang with change of syrup.

They had this chocolate fried banana.

I realise that the portions were really filling.
For each pancake dish we order,2 pancakes were given.
We ordered about 4 pancake dishes & there were 8 pancakes that we had to finish. Most of our stomach are filled with pancakes & banana.

It would be better if the portions are smaller to allow us to try more variety.

This is only good if you love pancakes.
Even the omelette they offer wasnt up to standard.
I tried a few & it wasnt good.

Really hope that they would improve on their food standard & variety.
The only thing they did was to take 2 pancakes & pair with salmon, bacon for savoury.& ice cream syrups for sweet.

Pasta was really bland. Not much ingredients were given.
Wouldnt go back again unless they improve their menu & food quality.

We were walking around Lau Pa Sat for food until a striking board attracted us to Wendy's.

We decide to try since we've never tried Wendy's before.

Decided to go for their beef burger & a chicken burger that was their promotion.

One thing is that the burgers werent really great.
Pretty normal.
What's good is the M&M milk shake!!

Super indulgent super sinful & creamy!!
The fries were pretty good.

All in all nothing special.
Great when you're just craving for a satisfyin fastfood apart from the usual.

Cafe Biz was having a 1-for-1 lunch buffet promotion.
My boss decide to treat us for a lunch buffet.

There were alot of great variety ranging from Chinese,Indian,Italian,Mediterranean salads,Japanese food.

I love the indian section as well as their chinese & dessert sections.

Indian section:Naan,curry,bryani rice,chicken(super good).
The japanese section wasnt very great with only a few variety. There wasn't any sashimi which my colleagues felt was disappointing.

They had a chocolate fondue which I really like.
One thing about Cafe Biz was their great range of selection of Cakes and desserts.
There were ice creams, fondue,& tons of different cakes that I tried.

They had traditional chinese porridge as well.
The whole buffet was kept really classy as they are presented in closed covered silver platters.

Would want to go again but for their dinner buffet.

Price wise,it's pricey but if go during promotion is quite ok but not very very worth it as I can get better buffet at lesser price.

One thing to take note is that the pasta isnt good at all.

So skip the pasta.
They had chicken rice as well as roasted meat but it wasnt very fantastic.
So keep your stomach for the yummy desserts!

My boyfriend had went to this steamboat with his NS friend & he introduced it to me.

The first time we went there together the food was awesome!
My fav was the thinly sliced beef, custard dumpling, charsiew dumpling as well as the osmanthus jelly/rose jelly for dessert.

But sadly,

the 2nd time we went back, custard dumpling & char siew dumplin werent on the list any more.

They had some fried items that were pretty good.
The fried banana fritter was great! It was crunchy outside & soft inside.

The soup stock was pretty good.
& the soup ingredients are similar to usual steamboat stuff.Nothing fasinating.
It's sad that their key highlight wasnt on the menu anymore.

Just for basic info:this restaurant was owned by Cao Guo Hui & there are newspaper article in the restaurant/outside the board that says so.

I'll go back for their thinly sliced beef & some of their fried items.
Havent been there for awhile so I'm not sure if the custard dumplin is back on the menu.

Otherwise,great dimsum!fresh beef!!

The fish slice wasnt good so try to avoid that.

The desserts was good.
Love the jelly.

Ambience was great & the whole environment was comfortable.
Probably good for gathering.
Customer service was pretty good.
We were well attended to.

Will go back if the lovely dim sum are back.
Otherwise,it wouldnt be much of a difference from usual steamboat apart from their ala carte fried items & fresh beef.

Super filling dim sum buffet OK Apr 25, 2011

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Restaurant | Dim Sum | Seafood

This day was a day where my boyfriend & I ate till we drop.

We ate 23 dishes of dim sum.

Siew Mai.
Bao.
Chee Cheong Fun
Custard balls(our fav!)
Carrot cake
Xiao Long Bao(wasnt very good)
Prawn dumpling
Chives dumpling
Porridge.
Dessert:Gui ling gao,almond tea,& jelly.
They had this moshi thing that's really delicious.

Quality wise it was pretty good.Just that their xiao long bao need to be improved.
Overall great variety with great quality apart from their XLB.

One thing to note though.Be there early. We went there at 3.30pm & alot of items were finished. We end up have to eat things which we didnt order.

Will go there again but not soon. We've overload ourselves with dimsum.

Service was pretty good, the servers there were mostly aunties & sometimes they are not alert. We stand at the counter really long before someone served us.But overall experience was good.

Do not underestimate the fullness dim sum can bring.
