Many people would not be aware that Amigo and Weng Kee Original Taste Ipoh Hor Fun are not affiliated with each other at all, even though they sell pretty similar stuff.

I'm a regular patron at Amigo and have tried almost all of their dishes.

I would highly recommend Gan Lao Mee Sua with Chilli (Mian Xian) and Chicken Chop Hor Fun. Their portion is pretty generous and I will always go into a food coma whenever I finish a meal there. The sour taste from the vinegar complements the chilli very well, and it's very flavourful. The chicken chop hor fun has more of a savoury taste compared to Weng Kee (which has a sweet taste, it's ultimately up to your preference but in my opinion hor fun should be savoury.) Ask for their sambal chilli! It's fragrant and not too spicy.

Their dumpling soup is delicious! A good amount of filling it in and the marinate/taste of the dumpling filling is really good.
