Let's Fishing Smile Mar 11, 2013

Wanted to find a not-so-expensive restaurant in Vivo City, that's why we came to this restaurant. Firstly, the waiters there are very friendly. This is not my first time to Fish & Co but I am quite surprised that almost all Fish & Co branches I have went to have good waiters and good service. Not sure how they train their waiters so welllol
So, this is what I ordered.

The food portion is big, so i always fins it difficult to finish the main dish myself. The prawn is fresh and it is served in a way so that you wont need to use your hands to peel off the prawn shell. Instead you can easily eat it with your fork. smile
The fried rice served along the dish is nice, it is not those ordinary fried rice.
My boyfriend ordered fish & chip as it is too dry and he can hardly finish in the end.
Anyway, I love the passionfruit soda which always come along with the set meal.tongue

Spending per head: Approximately $15(Lunch)

Birthday with Thais Smile Mar 10, 2013

Categories : Thai

My favourite hang out place in Jurong Point for the acceptable pricing of food. Normally a lunch or dinner set will cost about 10 bucks, which is fairly reasonable. A set meal consists of a main course (rice with chicken etc), a side dish, and a dessert.

Since I went there quite often, I decided to sign up for their ThaiExpress Orange card for $30. In return, I get to earn 10% rebate dollars from my second visit onwards. I have earned also a 1-for-1 Main Course eVoucher, a $10 eVoucher (you can choose to redeem it on the day of purchase), a $15 Birthday eVoucher (which I used up on the day of purchase), and a Birthday platter which is worth $20!

As they require me to dine in before I can redeem my birthday platter, I went there to have a mango rice and take away the birthday platter.

This is the mango rice. The waiting time is short and the taste is superb!
I didnt get a snapshot of the platter though. But there are quite a few fried stuff and a papaya salad. Worth for the price!

Must Have Tidbit  Smile Mar 10, 2013

If you are frequent shopper in Jurong Point, you will definitely not miss this. The queue in this outlet at Jurong Point is extraordinary long that you will start wondering what is so good about it. There are many flavours, but my personal favourite is the original flavour. Why so? It is because only original flavour tells you how nice it is. lol
The price is abit expensive, 2 dollars for erm a piece of egglet, which you can basically finish within 5 minutes. But it is definitely a good choice when you have a tidbit craving. It is easy to eat so you can enjoy it while doing your shopping!tongue
But just be prepared for the waiting time. You might not see many people around but the queue number might be quite long!
Superb!

Superb!

All time favourite! Smile Mar 10, 2013

Actually I came across this at a food fiesta in my school, and it was having a great discount over there. The seller claims it is discounted for 35% which they have never done before. If you are a durian lover, you will definitely love it.

The durian icecream.
You can really tell that it is authentic and they actually put alot of durian inside, instead of artificial durian flavour.

The durian mochi.
It is just like a mochi except that the fillings is real durian! You can choose to buy the D24 or the MaoShanWang. D24 is sweeter so it really depends on your preferencelol

Look at those durian fillings! Nom nom.

A gentle reminder: You need to defrost it for 5 minute before you eat when you just buy it from the seller. You can also keep in fridge for few hours, however, make sure your fridge is cooling enough, else in my case, my fridge is not cooling enough and the mochi skin start melting and the thing become not so nice anymore sad

If your school/company is organising any food fiesta/ fund raising event, go and check with Four Seasons as it will definitely catch eyeballs! tongue

Bean Curd Tarts Smile Mar 09, 2013

I am not sure if there are any shop selling similar tarts but this is the place that I had my first beancurd tart. Me and my boyfriend spent quite some time to find this place as we are not so familiar with the place. It is an old shop so if you did not pay attention enough, you might just walk past and missed it. We reached there in the evening, and luckily we bought the last box of the beancurd tarts. So if you want to go there, make sure you go earlier. There are other flavours too but all are sold out. Their pineapple tarts are quite nice too.
The price is reasonable, 8 tarts in a box for 10 dollars. Just a gently reminder, do not store it for too long as the tart will turn soft and it wont taste that nice. Just eat it fresh lol
