Tiramisu Cafecinno - Wow this was very creative! It my first time having Tiramisu with Coffee, they complemented so well! The aroma was so great with cocoa powder atop! Addicted to this.. Must Order!!!

Grilled Barramundi - I never expected that Bakerzin can cook such a nice grilled barramundi! The exterior skin was very very crispy and the creamy sauce was fantastic!!! I wish they can put more sauce... The meat was a tad not tender enough otherwise it will be perfect! Thumbs up for this dish!

Mango-Passion Souffle - Served with homemade chocolate ice-cream. The sourness of the mango-passion souffle was quite mild so not to worry, it has a refreshing taste with good quality chocolate ice-cream. The souffle was quite soft but the top texture was a tad rough, not as smooth as other souffles that i've tried before... Still need some improvements. But overall this dessert still tasted quite nice! Note: Baking time for 15mins.

Food & dessert quality were around slightly above average quality. But the main course selection was quite limited as i don't like pasta/burgers. So will only come back again to have the barramundi and try their other desserts again! Bakerzin definitely worth a revisit!

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Hotel | Dim Sum | Seafood

Finally comes the dim sum buffet on weekday for business lunch, tai-tais and for those who wish to indulge themselves when they're on leave!
(Only 1 Serving)

(Only 1 Serving)

Baked Egg Tart with Swiftlet Nest & White Fungus - I really love this exclusive egg tart! It gives off a very pleasant fragrance when you bite on the nest & white fungus.. The egg tart was melted in the mouth as well! Overall a very wonderful egg tart! smile
(Only 1 Serving)

(Only 1 Serving)

Deep-fried Yam Paste with Foie-gras - I can say this is the BEST fried yam paste i've ever had! The exterior was super super crispy till very hard to break it! The ingredients inside were so yummy and aromatic as well, perhaps its with the foie-gras!
(Only 1 Serving)

(Only 1 Serving)

Crab Meat with Shredded Abalone & Fish Maw in Thick Broth - The broth was quite thick and the taste was nice but not mind-blowing.. The serving was quite generous.
(One Serving)

(One Serving)

Homemade Bean Curd with Crab Meat & Aubergine in Supreme Stock - I love the bean curd as it's really really super smooth and tender with generous portions of crab meat and crab claws.. Not forgetting the flavourful supreme stock that made the whole dish very delightful!

The food quality for those 1 serving were excellent but the unlimited dim sum selection were quite disappointing...

Podi (Pure. Offbeat. Delicious. Infusions) brought to us by the same management from "The Bakery Depot - Cedele". Podi serves All Day Breakfast selections and delicious grills.
Podi is situated at the main fountain in the basement level of Raffles City Shopping Mall. To be able to dine in a relaxing ambience while watching the dancing water fountain, with the food at affordable prices... it doesn't get much better than this!

Duck Berry Waffle - Crisp exterior with tender flesh beneath, oh so yummy! This is a very bold creation as this is the first time seeing a duck confit with egg and waffle combination. It's like having main course with dessert 2-in-1... Not everyone can accept savoury-sweet dish together, but to my surprise, it works well for me! The waffle was very buttery and crisp, complementing well with the sweet-sour blueberry compote goodness! Not forgetting the well-cooked smooth runny egg... Overall a very delightful breakfast!!!

Stuffed Ham & Brie Brioche French Toast - The french toast is made with eggs and spinach brioche, stuffed with smoked ham and cheese, served with grilled tomato and greens. If you like your french toast with a little more punch, this dish is for you! The savoury smoked ham gave a heavier feel to the french toast and the spinach must have been added to offset the guilt... Nonetheless, this is a dish for ham and french toast lovers and those who want a filling breakfast.

Service was ok as we're the first table that time. The food quality of the above two items met my expectations so far. Will definitely be back again to try their grills next time!

We were here during Restaurant Week Dinner. Overall the service was very good and prompt. Food quality definitely met our expectations! Recommended for a romantic date or special occasions! Let's see the food details below!

Starter: Jumbo Crab with Tomato & Basil Essence
Generous portion of crab meat in a salad-like dressing, accompanied with fish roe and a dash of black pepper. You can really taste the freshness of the crab meat and everything else helps to bring out the taste.

Starter: Butternut Tortellini with truffle bagnacauda
The aromatic butternut, cooked to soft perfection, wrapped within the thin and moist tortellini. Doused in a creamy, truffle infused sauce, and adorned with caramelized sugar. Every flavourful mouthful warmed my heart..

Main Course: Seabass Cacciucco, Cherry Tomatoes and Celeriac
The skin was delightfully crisp while the seabass was still extremely tender, soaking in the flavourful broth. A really well cooked dish! This is one of the BEST seabass that I had so far!!!

Main Course: Free Range Chicken with Foie Gras, Prosciutto and Sweet Potatoes
The chicken roll was wrapped within a thin viel of prosciutto, with a heart shape of foie gras. (Impressed with the heart shape) You'd be forgiven to believe this was ham as that was exactly what came to my mind. Served with several types of exotic cauliflower. Taste was satisfactory and the chicken meat was quite tender but I wouldn't have mind a bigger foie gras middle.
