The different fried rice OK May 21, 2011
Categories : Indian | Hawker Centre

Nasi goreng Mamak also known as Indian Fried Rice. There are two kinds, one is white while the other one is red. This one is the red one. More spices are added. But even said that, the taste is average. Wouldnt be craving for more once tasted. Like normal nasi goreng.

Wonderful Life of Satay Smile May 21, 2011

Categories : Malay | Hawker Centre | Halal

The chicken satay was grilled perfecly. It was well cooked. The satay is chewable. The spices which goes with the satay complement each other. The gravy was not as sweet. The sweetness and spiciness of the gravy balance with each other. Ketupat also known as rice and onions with cucumber were garnished with the satay.

Spicy Mapo Ramen

Spicy Mapo Ramen

I definitely like the noodles for Spice Mapo Ramen. Eventhough it's only ramen, the noodles are different like the normal maggi mee. It's on the chewy side. The soup base is tasty. Garnished with mapo, which is a type of tofu, and half egg. We can actually taste the japanese spices in there. A simple dish and best suited for lunch.

NASI GORENG KAMPUNG Smile May 10, 2011

NASI GORENG KAMPUNG

NASI GORENG KAMPUNG

Nasi Goreng Kampung also known as Kampung Fried Rice. The spices in the fried rice are mixed and suited well together. Unlike other fried rice, ikan bilis or anchovies are added to bring out the kampung style fried rice. I would say that it is best eaten when it is spicy and hot.
