You mian
the noodle stall in my school NYP is quite popular, and i would say that the standard is quite high too. there are you mian, ban mian, tomyum noodle, dumpling noodle, fish soup noodle and fish porridge. the soup is quite fresh and sweet and tasty so everytime i want to have noodle i will consider this stall first. The noodle is springy and nice, not too soggy. There are anchovies and fried red onion that make the bowl of noodle nicer.

Fish soup noodle $3.5
I always try to search for nice fish soup noodle but still yet to find one in singapore. The soup still cant satisfy my expectation because i have tried once at KL, malaysia which is really damn nice! Anyway this is consider not bad already as compared to what i had before. The fish slice is fried till golden colour, not too oily and they soaked the soup in it. The soup is not bad, but it would taste nicer if there is preserved vege inside.

Kway chap
I think kway chap is something very local food to singaporean. but i seldom try kway chap because it's all about the organ and intestine to me, but i'm wrong. The kway (slice shaped noodle) is just like kway teow, come with the braised soup that is quite tasty. The another dish consists of the braised tofu, braised egg, some pig intestine and the pork meat. The tofu is what i love the most, soaked with the gravy that they braised till very fragrant and tasty. I only ate two pieces of the intestine, cant accept the smell but i think that should be quite nice for those who can accept intestine. There are also the mei cai (dry preserved chinese mustard) which is quite delicious.

Cream of mushroom and bread (comes with the main course)
The soup is really creamy and thick and full with ingredients too. I love the way they serve the soup, not the usual soup that we can find in other restaurant, the taste is slightly different, though not "very delicious" but sometimes i was bored by the usual taste of mushroom soup outside and this gave me a fresh impression. The bread is for two person portion, quite fragrant but it's the sweet type so i think it's not very suitable to eat with the soup.

Sirloin steak $28.90
The steak is definitely the top 3 steak i have eaten so far! The way they marinate it is something to wow on. The spices and herbs were so fragrant and tasty, but after finishing half way i feel a bit sick already. The seasoning is too intense that i need to drink something or eat the steak together with the mashed potato. Anyway it's still a good steak as the way they cook it was just perfect.

Dessert trio $18.90
The dessert trio consists of the chocolate brownie w ice cream, strawberry cheesecake and banana fudge w ice cream. The chocolate brownie is nice, rich in chocolate taste and correct moisture. The chocolate syrup is really sinful but is also a must. The strawberry cheesecake is okay, fine ad smooth but i feel sick after too much of it, maybe because i cant eat too much of cheesecake. The banana cake is something i dont like, it's too strong with the cinnamon taste which i cant accept. I only can accept cinnamon in apple cake or apple pie. Banana cake isn't it suppose to have fragrant banana taste?! Anyway we didn't manage to finish this plate of dessert because we are already very full with the steak and soup and bread. The dessert is really very large in portion!

Sakae sushi is always my favourite place to dine for sushis although i heard many reviews that sushi tei and itacho sushi is better. Anyways, I went to sakae sushi for their sushi buffet (around $25 nett) for more than 5 times already and i think it is affordable for students like me. We get to choose 1 red plate, 1 pink plate and unlimited colour plate that has the equivalent price in the menu. This pink plate is the inari sushi with mayo salmon which is very nice.
