crunchin' crab

Crispy soft-shell crab, layered with fresh lettuce and tomatoes! To start off, I'm not a sandwich person. However, I seriously had the best sandwich I've ever had at this place. lol Love the sauce that goes well with the filling and warm, soft, lightly toasted bread. Overall great experience! Crunching crab are only selling $6.90 which is value for money!

Famous Wantanmee Smile Mar 29, 2012

Pontian wan tan mee are able to find almost every food court.

The noodle served here was actually pretty good, though I feel it is not the most prefect wan tan mee in singapore. i like it how they mix with just the right amount of black soy sauce, tasty yet not too salty. The toppings and other items were pretty decent as well and given very generously, and the deep fried prawn really offered value for money.

The char siu (bbq pork) is really good too, slightly different texture (rougher and less oily outer layer) than normal. Wantan are were pretty tasty and most interesting is they serve both fried and soup wantan with the noodle.

Authentic Malaysian food Smile Mar 26, 2012

I wasent to keen to come to this place where my friend been bugging me for the past few months for malaysian food.

Located at among all the seafood restaurant, JB garden seafood are the most cozy and not the most popular among them. Very simple coffee shop setting, not attractive at all with very less crowd.

i did not place order due to unfamilarity with this place. When they serve the food on the table, i can't stop myself spooning the food! I have not see anywhere selling tis authentic hakka dish, braised pork with vermicelli for quite a decade since the last i ate at my granny place. The other dish was 5 spice powder fried pork cutlet. it was so amazing and tasty! The bill comes up to about only 30 for 2 pax with drinks and some other small dishes.

Please go to this place and order yourself a mouth watering hakka cuisine.

Finding cheap eats in Ion orchard? this is definitely the best choice of all!

If you've ever been to Taipei and had the priviliege of sampling/getting sick from their numerous street food treats/night market offerings, this place where you can find something similar to the foodie you had before in taipei!

Portions are much bigger than other choices we have in singapore, at price at 3.80. Love how authentic it is, flavorful, and never get enough of it! What i like the most is actually they replace oyster to meatball because I'm not a fans of oyster!

Everything was really good here, i also highly recommended another comforting food which is Braised Pork Rice.

For the laksa Smile Mar 22, 2012

A heaping bowl of goodness: a flavourful coconut laksa booth for your spicy craving.

Long story short, this is my new favourite place for cheap eats with air conditioning. Laksa is solid here and the quality has always been consistent. The coconut curry soup base is fragrant but not heavy. what i like about it they serve with mee tai map, very chewy and not too soft, goes well with the gravy.

For only sgd5.50 comes with a huge cup of barley, all day long. a real steal.

Tips for you all, request for additional laksa gravy, you will not get enough of it!
