I wouldn't usually order Hot & Sour Soup at Din Tai Fung but my friend wanted it. Since I was already (over) ordering everything else for our group who was I to say no. People usually come here for xiao long bao and their famous noodles.

It came last, and we were all very stuffed, but nobody could stop eating it. Perfect balance of flavors, tofu, pork, egg, mushrooms, etc. I was quite happily surprised. the balance of (mild) hot to (mild) sour just worked for me.

The xiao long bao here are kind of overrated and pricey.

A mixture of fusion, western and mamak food where u can find all variety of food you want!

Been going to this place almost every weekend after church service. They serve very big potion of food which quite worth a penny. I like their nasi lemak Ayam Kunyit which is not so authentic and slightly different, they have their ayam kunyit cut into very small cube and fried it. eat it with the rice and sambal, everything just blend so well.

Service was alright. Overall, this a quick eat and run place if you need something on the go. If u stay a little longer there, u will see people standing next to you waiting for their table, which annoyed me sometime because i have to force myself to finish it quickly.

canale is always famous for patisserie. What about other food?

Went there for lunch with a friend of mine, finally have a chance to try on whats on their menu other than scrumptious cakes from their display. there's a fairly extensive menu with a variety of mains for everyone to pick from- pasta, dorias(baked rice), salads, soups and etc.

I ordered the Bolognaise & poached egg doria – Traditional Baked rice in casserole recommended by my friend. It is a butter and herb infused rice with lots of cheese! I like how it end up like glutinous rice, with all the cheese mixed up with the grain. very unique and flavourful. Worth a try.

after a tiring afternoon soak and sun bath, this is the place for food!
Coastes are the most happening spot, casual and laid back place for all the beach lover and family. the food - burger, fish and chips, great pizza, spaghetti, etc. tasted excellent and the atmosphere, eating on the beach, was lovely.

Not only for dine in, you can actually drop by for a beer together with some snacks. They even serve premium house pour. I love their barbecue chicken wing, which is something i always ordered every visit. it is big portion, tasty and comes with a chili sauce with lime and so irresistible.

Did i mention this is also a pet friendly restaurant?

chicken rice is not something one should be eating every day, and i guess when the craving comes, u want to make sure it is a good serving. In the search of the best chicken rice, i finally tried the so called best one in boon tong kee.

As usual, well known restaurant are always with the long queue. We ordered 2 type of chicken (roasted and steamed) and some other side dish as well. I love how the rice is grainy, not too oily yet fragrant (and still tasty even when cold) and how the chilli and ginger is not mashed to mushy. I also like the way the deco the dishes.

Overall i prefer the steamed than the roasted chicken, roasted one are abit dry. Try to avoid weekend as many tourist took up the place here, its noisy and crowded.
