rice OK May 15, 2011

Here i ordered ginger stiry fry pork meat rice for takeaway to have it as dinner .
The portion is okay acceptable i paid about $4 .
The waiting time was about 15 minutes which was pretty long i guess
as there were alot of people.
The rice is fluffy and soft.
The pork slice was average, some pieces were slightly tough
the sauce drenched on the rice is quite tasty though.

I bought this home during dinner after work,
as i was not much queue and i was very hungry after slogging out the entire day.
I was quite disappointed as the noodles had become quite dry by the time i reached home in about 15 minutes upon collecting my order.
I should have eaten it on the spot, but there were alot of people, i could not find any seats.
The taste is average, and the sambal chilli was too spicy.
I had to keep drinking alot of water as the noodle was dry .

noodle OK May 15, 2011

This wanton noodle have the usual thin type of noodle which i liked to eat.
There are many pieces of charsiew in the noodles too.
They were very generous with the charsiew and noodle, but it would be alot better
if they can add in more wantons
as there were only 2 small pieces of wantons in the noodles.
Maybe they can also add in some pieces of fried wantons to make the noodles look and taste better as it was quite plain to eat the noodles with just so many charsiews alone.

Spending per head: Approximately $2.5

went there for lunch with my friend, firstly service was slow when we called the waitress she didn't come instead she asked her friend to come over and take order instead , and her friend didn't came immediately but take sometime although the restaurant is not very packed at the moment . I ordered ice lemon tea my usual drink meaning i tried a lot places of ice lemon tea in singapore be it in a can or home made and i can say this time round i taste the worst ice lemon tea ever , taste like detergent and i couldn't even drink another mouth of it. My friend was saying i waste money but really disgusting drink ever. the fish and chip is average taste only. won't go back for the bad service and drink.

laksa OK May 15, 2011

The laksa here was slightly on the watery side,
it would sure taste better if more coconut milk was added in,
it would enhance the overall fragrance too.
There were generous amount of beansprout and taupok in the laksa .
The thick beehoon was nice and well cooked, they werent soggy at all.
Wished the gravy would be thicker and better .
