economic rice OK May 15, 2011   (Related Review)

Today i ordered these for lunch , as economic rice is the usual i would eat for lunch.
I had deep fried chicken, curry vegetables as well as braised egg tofu.
I had a well mix of everything in my rice.
I queued for about 5 minutes as there were quite a number of people during lunch.

The curry vegetables is slightly soft and it was not too spicy, i like the curry taupok, upon biting, the curry gravy drizzled out nicely in your mouth.
The rest of the items tasted average too.

Spending per head: Approximately $2.7

curry economic rice OK May 15, 2011

I like curry as well as eating economic rice
hence having curry economic rice is a good choice for me .
I had ordered potato with luncheon meat,
pork chop which is a signature dish of curry rice,
and stewd cabbages as well.
The cabbages were too soft for me to chew nicely, they just "melted" in my mouth.
The potatoes luncheon meat dish is average.
i like the pork cutlet amongst all.

pizza hut OK May 15, 2011

Categories : Restaurant | Pasta

I have not been to pizza hut for a long time as i feel that their price is increasingly higher.
Today i decided to give it a try as i spoted a good deal for lunch
and as i have no idea what to eat for lunch.
For only $7.90, i got a personal pan pizza and a soup of the day and a drink.
My pizza was hawaiian which was the nicest i feel, and soup of the day was some mushroom soup which tasted ok, perhaps too pepperish for my preference.
The pizza is hot and nice.

western food OK May 15, 2011

I ordered a small light snack to satisfy my teatime cravings.
I ordered a nuggets with fries set which set me back for about $3.
Nothing fantastic about the taste,
its just the normal nugget and fries we have everywhere.
The good thing is that they fried the items nicely and the stall holder is very friendly.
I would come back again to try other stuff on their menu
especially the fish and chips which looks very yummy,

Popiah OK May 15, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Stall / Kiosk

They have many types of popiah and wraps here with interesing flavours.
They also have some promotional wraps with a cup of drink.
Went to Nex for a movie , and bought this popiah as a snack before the movie starts.
I had their traditional indonesian popiah which cost me $1.80 per roll.
Here, they do not cut the popiah up like the usual popiahs we have, they give you the entire roll in a plastic bag for easy eating.
The taste is okay for me, nothing too fanciful.
although i requested for a bit of chilli, i find the chilli slightly too spicy for me.
