yummy yumi Smile May 15, 2011

Although all kinds of yogurt stalls has been taking our little red dot by storm,
my favourite is till yami yogurt.
I find it the tastiest and most value for money.
I can choose the desired add on toppings of my choice, from fruits to nuts mainly under $1.
They have different range of yogurt flavours at different outlets.
I have tried most of them, strawberry, cherry, peach, mango, original etc,
my favourite would be blackcurrent one.
The most value for money item i find in their menu is the banana boat at only about $4,it comes with a banana and lots of healthy fruits and nuts.

LAKSA Smile May 15, 2011

I paid only about $3 for this bowl of very nice laksa
which comes with prawn, taupok, fishcake and also half an egg.
Even though i added extra chilli for the laksa,
it was not over spicy,
tasted just right. The chilli was abit like sambal chilli, slightly on the saltish side rather than spicy.
The laksa gravy is very good, i drank alot of the gravy before eating the noodles and the rest of the items.
There was no overload of coconut milk, otherwise the laksa would taste more milkish and not so nice.

laksa Smile May 15, 2011

I haven eaten laksa for a long time as the last time i eaten
i had quite a bad sorethroat.
I finally mustered the courage to ordered laksa as i could not resist my cravings.
There is a big prawn , slices of fish cakes and the usual taupoks in the laksa.
I requested for no cockles as they werent my cup of tea,
i find the taste of cockles too raw for my liking.
The laksa graving is spicy , but light and hearty, not overdone.
The thick beehoon absorbed the laksa gravy very well,
and it taste very good.

I ordered bakchormee take away for lunch
and requested for extra vinegar as i like my bakchormee with the slightly sourish taste.
The bakchormee comes with fried dumpling which were very crispy and tasty, i enjoyed them so much that i ordered extra fried dumpling.
The noodles taste very good.
And portion is good too for price paid.

Fishball noodle soup Smile May 15, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court

It has been some time since i last had soup-based items for my meal,
as i am a fast eater, i find eating soup based food quite tedious.
But alas, today i decided to try some piping hot fishball noodle ,as they seem good,
as i saw a snaking queue at the stall.
To my surprise, the soup is light and taste naturallyy sweet of fishballs.
It was very good.
The fishballs were refreshing to eat , as they were very fresh,
there was not any fishy smell.
I love the strips of fishcake too.
I would come back again next time round.
