crispy carrot cake Smile May 15, 2011

I love eating carrot cake, be it fried or steamed,
both works well for me.
Most important is the taste of the carrot cake.
I like the fried carrot cake here,
the exterior is slightly crispy,
but the interior is moist and soft.
I could taste bits of real carrots inside.
They have their chilli sauce which is specially made too,
unlike normal chilli sauce.
Sweet and slightly spicy. The carrot cake is quite a big piece too, very filling.

I have been a loyal supporter and a big fan since many years back .

They have many flavours and their ice cream taste natural and not too sweet.
My family loves them too.

My favourite is their durian icecream as i am a durian lover.

Eating their durian icecream is akin to eating the real durian fruit.
The durian icecream is vey fresh and rich.

Good place, good price, nice and quiet ambience and most important good food.I like the chicken toji very very much. The chicken was fresh and not too soft, very nicely cooked. The gravy has the nice slightly sweet soya flavour that i like.i like that the chicken are wrapped with the egg, which is heavenly to eat. This dish goes very well to eat with plain rice and a cup of iced tea.

Old chang kee curry puff are my long time favourite.I could eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner without feeling sick of them.Their crust is very special, they will not turn soggy, and is still crispy even if i eat it a few hours after buying.I like their crispy savoury sweet crust. The curry puff is stuffed with generous servings of potato to my liking, moist and soft.I like their original curry puff best compared to their other flavours such as sardine, black pepper.

natural sweet Smile May 07, 2011

It was a very hot day and i ordered their big cuppa of sugarcane juice to go along with my lunch.Paid about $1.50 for the drink. It came with loads of ice, it would be better if they add in less ice so i can have more sugar cane juice.Otherwise than the price, i had no complain for the sugar cane juice as it tasted pure and good, naturally sweet , and not too diluted nor was there the lots of sugar artificial sweetness.
