juicy roasta burger OK May 15, 2011

Categories : American | Fast Food | Halal

I have been wanting to try out the KFC roasta burger for quite some time
and today i finally bought the set meal to try.
The roasta meal was slightly more expensive compared to the average meals,
it costed me $6.80 for a roasta burger, drink and mash potato which i changed to coleslaw as i feel it is healther to eat more vegetables compared to carbo(mash potato or fries)

I was pleasantly surprised as the burger tasted rather good. The chicken patty was very tender and absolutely juicy. There was tomato and lettuces slices too.
I would love it more if they added in cucumber slices.

Spending per head: Approximately $6.8

Chicken wings Smile May 15, 2011

Categories : Coffeeshop

I was feeling hungry during tea time, and thought some fried chicken wings would make a good snack,
Price at only about $1.20 per chicken wing,i find the price value for money as the chicken wing was quite tender and rather juicy,
They tasted nice even without the need for me to dip them in chilli sauce.
I would come back again to try other items on the menu they have here.

claypot rice OK May 15, 2011

I have not eaten claypot rice for a long time
the last time i had it was in Malaysia where they serve really authentic claypot rice in coconut husk. The taste was hard to forget.
Of course we cant find that kind of claypot rice in here in Singapore but this one that i had today for dinner taste good too.
There was chinese sausage, lots of tender and well marinated chicken and even some bits of salted fish. The salted fish added a pleasant surprise to the rice.
I would love it more if they add in more salted fish and black soya sauce as the rice was not aromatic enough.

Chicken rice is one of the food i enjoy.I can have chicken rice continously for a few days .
There was not a long queue during lunch time and i hop over to have a plate for lunch.

Portion is acceptable. The chicken taste great, fresh and tender.

The chilli however was too hot for my liking, hence i skipped the chilli.

The rice is fragrant and i love to add black soya sauce to make the rice even nicer.

egg prata OK May 15, 2011

Categories : Indian

I like to have egg prata for breakfast as the carbohydrates(flour in the prata) gives me good energy to headstart my day.I can eat the egg prata lone or with curry,
both way taste good and nice.
This prata is very yummy, and they are generous with the eggs, almost the entire prata is filled with egg.
I can never be sick of egg prata, i can enjoy 2 or 3 pieces each time by myself.
