Koi milk tea. Smile May 30, 2011

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

Till today, Koi still has its never-ending queue. Being eager, I decided I would be one of them on a weekday; it took 10 minutes for my turn to arrive and another 10 for my drink to be ready.

I ordered the regular milk tea with mini pearls. For the sugar percentage, I chose 70% which apparently fall under the Less Sugar category. I could never understand those who always choose 100% sugar because I thought 70% would be sweet enough.

Frankly, it was my first time trying out their milk tea; I'll usually go for the passion fruit green tea or so at its other branches and even at Gong Cha. Something new but not to my favor, the milk tea also kind of gave me a tummy ache after that.

My first time trying the Belgian Waffle from Four Leaves. They are relatively small in size, especially for a big eater like me. I wanted some snacks to munch on on-the-go and the little Belgian Waffle caught my eye. They have it with milk chocolate drizzle as well. The chocolate one cost $1.40 whilst the original one cost $1.20. The waffle was chewy and soft, would have been better if it was heated up.

wicked chicken. Smile May 30, 2011

I extremely love the new promotional item of Popeyes: Wicked Chicken!

Well, this item is basically breaded chicken strips. Very delicious. I read online that they are “Wicked” because of their gnarly shape.

Popeyes describes them like this: "Popeyes new Wicked Chicken is wickedly good, thin strips of tender, juicy, all white meat chicken marinated with authentic Louisiana seasonings, hand-battered and breaded in the restaurants, served up crispy, twisty, curly and wicked!"

The breaded chicken strips are handy in size and easy to eat, I like the special taste of spicy and sweet at the same time, it contains tobasco pepper sauce, yum. Since the pieces are tossed in the dressing, be sure to request for a fork or napkins if you're having it on the go.

$3.90 for ala carte, $2.90 for add-on to any purchase of meal.
