My favourite Vanilla Cone Smile Apr 20, 2012

I love Mcdonald's vanilla cone, one of my favourite cheap ice cream that can satisfy an ice cream craving without having to spend so much. The vanilla ice cream had a great texture, not overly soft and melty and the waffle cone went really well with it! The ice cream didn't melt very quickly. The base of the vanilla cone is the best part of the ice cream because you get to sink your teeth into the cone while enjoying the the remaining ice cream melted below. smile

Fresh Fruit Tarts Smile Apr 20, 2012
Categories : Bakery | Café | Desserts and Cakes | Brunch

A friend brought back some fruit tarts from Drips that day. They were huge tarts with lots of fresh fruits on top. Very aesthetically pleasing when I first saw them but I thought they might not taste that good. I was wrong!!! The berries were so fresh and juicy! Most importantly, the base of the tart was crumbly and the custard was goood. I would definitely visit this cafe one day to try their other tarts! smile

Mixed Vegetable Rice Cry Apr 20, 2012
Categories : Coffeeshop

I had a pack of mixed vegetable rice from this stall that day. The variety of food served at the stall was quite large, I ordered lady's finger, potato and chicken cutlet. The rice was of a huge portion and it was a little too mushy! ): It was like thick porridge. I didn't really like it. The food portions were small, on the other hand. The vegetables were tasty. However, the chicken cutlet was not crispy when I brought it back home.

Hazelnut Milk Tea  OK Apr 20, 2012
Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

I haven't had hazelnut milk tea for some time and decided to get a takeaway that day. I like this flavour because there is a light hazelnut flavour, giving the milk tea a little twist from normal ones. However, this time round, I ordered the wrong percentage of sugar (at eighty percent) and it turned out really tooo sweet!! I felt like I was drinking just sugar water. I love the pearls which were not too big and easy to chew. smile

FIshball Noodles OK Apr 20, 2012
Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

There were many fishball noodle stalls but it was my first time eating the noodles from this stall. For $2.50, the portion of noodles was appropriate but kind of little (could have ordered the three dollars portion). There was a variety of ingredients, including fishballs, fishcake and a meatball! I didn't really like the noodles because there were no bean sprouts and there was not enough seasoning added that day. Had to add extra chili sauce over it. The noodles were not too soggy, though.

Spending per head: Approximately $2.50
