It was my first time at Marble Slab Creamery. Didn't know their scoops were really big so I ordered three scoops of blood orange sorbe, hazelnut and cheesecake flavours! I realised my combination was a little weird after I ordered but it was not too bad after all because the ice cream was good so it did not melt too easily and get mixed up. The blood orange sorbe was the best. A little sourish but it was really refreshing. The other two flavours were quite normal. The ice cream was creamy and was of a perfect texture!

I don't eat pepper lunch sets very often but that day, the whiffs of cooked meat tempted me to order a set when I walked into FEAST. I opted for beef and later on added a mixture of both the garlic and bbq sauce into my pan of rice. The sauces really made the rice very tasty although just a little too salty. There was also a sweet element to the dish with the pieces of corn scattered around. Freshly cooked meat are the best and pepper lunch gives you just that. I had a great lunch although I smelled of cooked meat after that.

This Korean restaurant at the basement of Plaza Singapura is relatively new. It has an interior design concept that of a korean cafe with sweet designs here and there, giving you a Korean feel, just that the waiter and waitresses are not Koreans. ): but the food they serve is not too bad. We ordered a few dishes including their Korean pancake and chicken dish. The Korean pancake was yummy! It was not too starchy and there was still a light crisp to it. The chicken dish was served raw over a flame, so we had to wait awhile for it to cook. It was sweet, not spicy and went very well with a bowl of white rice. I really enjoyed the Korean meal at this restaurant!

I wanted a light lunch after a heavy breakfast so I ordered a packet of chicken rice from The Cafe Lobby. For just two dollars (excluding the egg), the portion of chicken and rice was reasonable. The rice was quite fragrant but I should have asked for more sauce over the chicken because it was a little too dry.

I decided to queue for the famous Nasi lemak at Adam Road Food Centre. Apparently a royalty from Brunei patronises this store and the queue was really long! Most people ordered the Royal Flush (they have really cool names for their various set meals) but I decided there were too much ingredients in that set so I settled for the second largest set. There was a chicken wing, egg, otah, ikan bilis and rice. And, not forgetting the sambal chili! I felt that the nasi lemak tasted normal, not really that different from other places. But their otah was gooood. the rice was not too mushy and the chicken had a good seasoning and not too much batter. A satisfying lunch!
