The Palace  Cry Jul 29, 2012

I ordered the beef bulgogi rice set which comes with rice, beef bulgogi meat, a slice of small korean pancake and a bowl of soup. The portion was quite small as I did not feel full after finishing the meal. The beef were little and tasteless, while the rice portion was alright. It costs $7.90 for the meal which I felt the price was average for the quality of the food.

Food Palace- Cuisine  Cry Mar 31, 2012

Ordered the Hong Kong fried seafood noodle from food palace for dinner. I was very disappointed with the meal. The noodles were very oily and tough. The ingredients were stingy with just a few pieces of crabstick and a few prawns. Pathetic!!! I feel so pissed after that because it cost me $4 for just a plate of oily noodles. please do not try this stall ever!!!!

The food served at The Palace is not really fantastic. I ordered the ramen with sushi set which costs $12. The sushi is cold and hard making it quite hard to chew. The ramen is too spicy for my taste buds even though I made a special request for it to be less spicy. I did not enjoy the meal overall. Expensive but taste horrible.

I had some siew mai for snacks from the Dim Sum / Drinks stall at Kopitiam. I had 3 pieces which costs $2.40. It was served in a basket which was steaming hot. The siew mai tasted oily and had a smell which was not to my liking. Plus point being the pork was tender which saved the day.

Ikea Café Alexandra Cry Mar 23, 2012

Categories : Western Variety | Kids-Friendly

Feeling hungry after shopping at Ikea, we headed to the cafe for some snacks. We ordered the nuggets and fries which costs around $3.90. Both the nuggets and fries tasted cold as I believed it was left on the shelf for some time. The fries were quite oily as well. There is a huge crowd at Ikea cafe, so be prepared to wait for a while.
