I was looking for a value for money quick dinner when I came across this $6.50 recommended egg fried rice on the menu of this Chopsticks place. Their egg fried rice is ONLY with egg, rice& green garnish. There is no other ingredients hence it is too ex to pay $8. I am very disappointed with the quality of the food, although the taste is not bad and the portion is rather huge. Would not go back again

regular minced meat noodle Cry Sep 06, 2011

I was searching for a not so heavy dish for lunch and decided to try out this minced meat noodle.
The stall holder had each bowl's ingredient distibuted readily to shorten waiting time for it's customers.

I ordered a soup mee pok.
The soup taste is very normal. Ingredients are lean meat and diced meat. There is also a wanton which is not thawed/cooked properly; the meat inside still lumped together.
This is not quite worth the price.

Perhaps the dried version is better.

Spending per head: Approximately $3.50(Lunch)

We stayed around the estate and had been hesitating to try. The restuarant look nicely decorated from outside. decided to try with their promo lunch set costing $10 odd for a starter, main dish and drink.

The service was not bad, attentive staffs.

The starter something like rojak taste good. I like the crispy stuff in the dish. The nasi lemak with the side dishes taste just ok.

As for penang fried kway teow taste very normal. For a much lower price, I can get nicer penang kway teow. the portion is quite small also.

I had wanted to try the chendol, but was disappointed. the coconut syrup is not fragrant and the ice is rather coarse.

I would say for the price, especially for ala carte items, the restuarant have to work harder on the taste of the dishes.

Spending per head: Approximately $18(Lunch)

We are attracted by the nice romantic and relaxing ambiance with candle light on the table.

I find the pasta that I ordered was not cooked enough, it is still not soft to my taste. The tomato based sauce taste well, not too sour. The chicken breast as this part of the chicken, meat is dry. This is an ok dish if the price is lower.

There is an opening special 15% discount. However UOB card holders get 20% off.
Overall, too expensive for a regular weekday lunch.
This outlet serves All day breakfast too.

Recommended Dish(es):  chicken pasta in tomato sauce

My friends and I were here for a after meal tea and snack.
The restaurant staffs helped my friend and her baby stroller , to be parked outside the restaurant.

We ordered some snacks; Taiwanese sausages, cost us something like $6.50 for a very oily plate of treats. The Taiwanese fried popcorn chicken and the sweet potato fries are nice! We also had bubble tea at the restaurant, which the choices and taste rather mediocre.

Overall we find the items are too pricey for the quality.

Perhaps will give a try of their main dish in the next visit.
