This bowl of Special Mixed Soup ramen(priced at $10.60) is really yummy and value for money.  My friend brought me to this Japanese restaurant and was really glad that I have come here and get to know about this place.

The restaurant staffs and chefs are all very friendly and polite, keep on greeting you when you enter the restaurant.  The restaurant is small and squeezy, but fortunately is still cooling enough.  For this bowl of ramen, the soup base is my favourite.  Super thick and creamy, and can really taste the thick pork meat flavour in it.

Ramen is very chewy and portion is generous as well. For the thin slices of roasted pork belly , with no doubt they are very chewy and fresh, fragrant and tender.  Half cooked egg is equally yummy and the egg yolk is really smooth and good.  After the meal, you can also grab a free cup of hot beverages near their service counter from the vending machine.

Wedding Dinner Smile Mar 31, 2014

Came to this well known chinese restaurant to attend my colleague's wedding dinner.  This restaurant has very traditional chinese decoration around it and is spacious and comfortable.

Service here is fast and most of the staffs here are friendly as well.  Enjoyed the 8 course wedding dinner which i had, and particular enjoyed these 3 dishes.

Cold dish which has really nice and generous serving, looks colourful and appetizing.  Like the fried spring rolls which are crispy and the mixed vegetables inside are fresh and crunchy. The cold jelly fish is also very chewy and cooling, with the added little spicyness to it.

THe fish maw soup, is flavourful and thick in texture.  Can really taste there are generous portion of fish maw and thinnly sliced mushroom in it which is nutritional.  Crispy roasted chicken has very tender and juicy meat, with super fragrant roasted chicken skin on it, super delicious!

Buffet lunch Smile Mar 31, 2014

I had a company gathering lunch in this Indonesian halal restaurant.  Glad that they served buffet lunch which we can have so many unlimited serving of their signature dishes without having a big holes to our pockets.

For the price of $30 per adult, is very reasonable and value for money.  Dishes of food are served to our table by their friendly and helpful service staff.  Restaurant is very spacious and cooling, with really nice and bright layout here.

Love their tapioca leave cooked with coconut milk which the tapioca is really soft and easy to eat.  The sambal sotong rings are also very tasty, with spicy sambal chilli to cook with these really fresh and chewy sotong rings.   Besides, the curry vegetable is also delicious.  Curry gravy is thick and creamy with lots of fresh crunchy vegetables in it.

Lemon Pie Crunch Smile Mar 31, 2014

Categories : Desserts and Cakes

Pass by this CHewy Junior outlet here at Tampines and was attracted by the colourful range of chewy puffs available at their counter and decided to buy one to try.

The counter ladies are very friendly and helpful when serving me.  THe stall is small and clean, with simple nice bright layout as well.  I have bought the Lemon Pie Crust to try, which cost only $1.50 each.

The puff, as you can see from the name itself, is 'chewy' and most in texture.  Lots of fresh smooth fresh cream are filled in the puff which is very flavourful and delicious. The lemon cream is not too sour and also is very smooth and sweet.  With the added cornflakes topped on it added that extra crunchy to this little snack.

Bak Kut Teh Feast Smile Mar 31, 2014
Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Restaurant | Bak Kut Teh

THis famous bak kut teh restaurant is recommended by my cousin and was really impressed by his recommendation.  The restaurant may look small, but still consider quite comfortable and not really that squeezy.

The auntie staff here is warm in service and recommended their signature dishes to us politely and very patient too. Have ordered their you tiao, bak kut teh soup and also a bowl of vegetable with fried onion.

Bak Kut teh is flavourful and the soup base is thick and cloudy in texture.  The pork ribs are very tender, soft and juicy.  The you tiao to dip inside the soup base really taste great and yummy!  Vegetable is fresh and crunchy and with the generous amount of friend onion topped on it make it really appetizing.  Total paid $18 for this meal which is reasonable.
