Coconut Curve Pancake Smile Mar 30, 2014
Categories : Bakery | Coffeeshop

This stall selling two types of pancakes, which is the rectangle and the curve type. Both to me taste equally delicious!  The stall is small but is still consider clean and neat.  The counter lady is quite friendly and fast in service as well.

I have bought a piece of this coconut curve pancake to try.  Priced at 70 cents each is very cheap.  The pancake texture is soft, moist and is not too sweet.  As for the coconut filling, the orange coconut filling is sweet and flavourful, moist and not too hard.

Do be there early to avoid sold out of these yummy snacks as i usually encounter out of stock around 4pm almost everyday.

This stall selling all kinds of friend noodles, bee hoon and deep fried items which are very affordable and yummy!

Located in this coffeeshopand at the corner here which is quite prominent and easy to locate it.  The sales here is really good and always be having some queues to buy the food here.   I have bought a package of fried kway teow which is only at $1.00.  The portion is generous and really appreciate the generous amount of beansprout added it which make it really flavourful and added that extra nutritional value to it.  Kway teow is super delicious but abit too oily. Chilli sauce is sweet and not too spicy, easy to eat.

The stall owners are very friendly and fast in service too.  Can really save some money by patrolling here more oftenly.

Corn Bun Cry Mar 30, 2014
Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Coffeeshop | Dim Sum

This tim sum stall is quite big and many choices available on their display board as well.  The boss aunty is very friendly and polite when serving me.

I have bought their corn bun to try, which at $0.80 each is consider quite affordable.  It was really hot and fresh when she pass it to me.  The bun texture is moist and was thin and easy to chew. However the very disappointing part about this mini snack is the sweet corn filling.  Very dry and although you can taste the sweet corn vegetables in it, it tastes abit sour and not flavourful. Would not recommend this to my friends.

This coffee shop is quite big but is quite squeezy and warm.  Not an ideal dining environment for tim sum.

Sugar Roll Smile Mar 30, 2014

Categories : Bakery

It since like this whole Tampines street 43 area, this is the only bakery shop I can find around here.  So I suppose this may be the reason for its good business.  Moreover, the service here is also friendly and cheerful too.

The shop is quite big and many choices available here which is another main reason people like to come here to choose among the wide range of bread and cakes here.

I have bought the sugar rolls back to have it for my tea break.  Priced at $2.00 is simply cheap and the portion is generous too.  The texture of the bread is moist, soft and the outer part is fragrant and not too bitter which due to over baked.  Topped with lots of coarse plain sugar that added that extra crunchiness when you eat it.  Yummy!

Pass by this western food stall and was really attracted by the colourful display outside here and super wide range of food to choose from.

I have ordered from the friendly counter lady a box of mini sausages to take away.  The stall is clean and neat but the dining environment in this coffee shop is warm.

My food was ready in ten minutes for my pick up.  For the price of $2.00 for seven pieces of mini sausages, is quite affordable.  Packaging and clean and hygience which impressed me. Sausages were chewy and really fragrant.  Inside was a little surprise to me, as there are melted cheese flow out when I bite it.  Not too bad and is a great snack which is not really that sinful to me.
