Went there or lunch with my cousin. It was a good experience.
Taste is fantastic. Love all except the tamago. The tamago is a little bland so we finished only half of it. The ramen are just nice. I kinda like the soup base. As for the gyoza, it’s my favourite. The skin is thin and the fillings is juicy. Must try!
Service is quite good. Efficient service crew! Will definitely visit again. it’s my second visit already! Highly recommended!

Subway cookies tend to differ in taste every time i try it. Not too sue if it’s the branch or it’s just that day. Sometimes, cookies are too chewy, too dry or simply too sweet but this isn’t. It tasted just nice. Got the macadamia nut with white chocolate cookie (though my favourite is double chocolate). The aroma is really tempting and the crunchy nuts brought the taste to a higher level. Can’t stop eating! Best cookies in town( but do watch out which branch serves the best cookies)!

Nice cakes to have during birthday! smile
I love their chocolate. Not too sweet and with a little bitter, that brings out the real taste of chocolate! Even though both are the chocolate cakes, it tasted different. (luckily it’s different!!! I was made to finish both and later in the day, i had a mango cake too!)
I wasn’t the one who bought it, so i can’t comment on the service and price but i guess for such good cakes, the price paid should be quite worth it.
Recommended for chocolate and cream lovers.

It’s the best mooncake i had this year! Ordered the white lotus paste with single egg yolk mooncake as I’m not a fan of egg yolk. When i cut the mooncake, i was quite disappointed as the yolk is right in the middle( that means i’ll have to eat the yolk too...). But to my surprise, i actually like the additional blend of flavour. Their egg yolk lifted the whole taste, not too dry, not too oily but just nice! The lotus paste is great too. Sweetness level is just right and there’s is a special fragrance, coming from melon seed/lotus seed that makes eating a pleasure and worst of all... forgetting that it’s sinful! i ate a quarter of it at one go! Sounds little?? Well.. girls( like myself ) should watch their diet...

A seemingly small and common shop yet providing a widespread of food, mixed with rich creativity and homely feel. The chef recommends their porridge, curry chicken set, red bean mocha, thick toast and sesame paste, providing more than enough choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even high tea. You can visit in the morning for their popular porridge (sold out fast) , return for their curry chicken set during lunch and top up with a red bean mocha if you can’t take hot stuff. A third visit for thick toast for high tea if you’re looking for something light. Have a sweet tooth? They have sesame paste, almond paste, beancurd sheet with ginko, sweet potato soup and many more. I’m sure you’ll be able to find your “taste”!

Let me tell you more about what I tried in this neighbourhood, this little street, this unknown shop on a special day....

I started off with their home-style congee and bee hoon for breakfast. It’s not very salty and I have a special liking for their chilli but what a pity, they don’t sell it separately. I would compliment their good service apart from their good food.

They have such a great variety! I thought.. I seldom come to this area, why not I have some lunch and high tea to be taken away. So here’s what I’ve got:
lotus soup with rice

lotus soup with rice

Like I’ve mentioned, it really gives me a very homely feel and what ought to be mentioned is that it does not taste like it’s flavoured by MSG.
honey butter toast

I’ve also gotten a honey butter toast. The bread is very soft and the sweetness level is just nice, coupled with the fragrance brought about by the butter. I believe it will be even better if it’s eaten hot. I can totally imagine the crispy crust!
red bean milk tea

red bean milk tea

Looks interesting isn’t it? Grass jelly milk tea has its position and now red bean milk tea. A very local tasting drink, an imaginable blend of chendol and ice kacang. Of course, without the coconut. Good try!

And all these cost only $10.10!
Lesson learnt: Always keep your eyes open for good stuff!

What a pity! It closes around 5.30pm. So be there early to avoid disappointment!
