a great dessert!  Smile Jan 02, 2012

Even though this brand have been available for quite a long period, i’ve never tried it until today. I got myself the chocolate fudge one which cost $1.60( i think ). It’s fantastic! I like the blend between the chocolate and the cream within the pastry. The well mix of both made the supposedly heavy taste seem just nice. Due to the chewy nature, it’s really hard to eat in a public place in a glamorous manner. I guess.. it’s better to have a take-away

healthy and tasty! Smile Jan 01, 2012

I love their cakes! Smooth and velvety is the texture, simple but elegant is their exterior. They carry with them a wide variety of flavours and a series of nutricake ( highly recommended!) which satisfy those with sweet tooth, yet maintaining the health balance. Price is a little expensive but i think it’s worth it. A must try!

the bread is talking Smile Oct 04, 2011

A common and simple food item being brought to a fashion show. The pepperdog from Breadtalk bears resemblance with the conventional hotdog bun we see in any other bakeries. However, the addition of cheese and herbs did give much visual satisfaction; earning them a higher ranking. What a pity the taste weren’t enhanced by the additional ingredients. Texture did improve though. The peppered flavoured hotdog used was too salty to allow the taste of pepper to stand out. Overall, thumbs up for the “dressing” and creativity but neutral for the taste.

No complains about the service. Indeed they are quite efficient. The queue moved quite fast. Prices are also reasonable. A must try is their pork floss bun. Soft bread heavily dust with pork floss. Highly recommended! The Bak Kwa delight is also a twist from the conventional. Something that you’ll usually see during Chinese New Year is now found in the bakery on a bread. Worth a try for their creativity but pork floss bun is still my top choice.

To conclude, these are great ideas and tasty breads for anytime of the day which are conveniently located in many shopping centres!

nice drumlet! Smile Sep 21, 2011

Nice drumlet that’s worth a try! A little sweet and a little spicy, a perfect combination in a small little drumlet. Meat is tender too. Very tasty! Much better than the black pepper drumlet they had earlier. Price is quite reasonable, slightly towards the higher end. $5.80 for 6 drumlet. It’s a good snack for supper or simply to add on to dinner ( like what i did). It’s a must try! Their taro turnover (yam pie) too (taste better than old chang kee)!

Got a chic ham and sausage baked rice ( $8.60) and topped it up with a soup and a drink for $3.90. Quite worth it and food is nice. Highly recommended! The place is clean and big. Good for group gathering or chill out. Should try the dessert pizza too. only $3.90 for the banana dessert pizza and $4.30 for the apple crumble pizza. I personally prefer the banana one but both are nice. Service is efficient. Food arrived fast. Should try!
