It has been a long time since i’ve dined at the Soup Spoon, just like it has been a long time since i’ve met up with my friends. It’s an ideal place for gathering, to have a light meal and casual chat. A healthy soup that leaves the health conscious people at ease. Price is reasonable. highly recommended!

A simple Japanese restaurant offering affordable jap cuisine. Taste is comparable to price and indeed very worth it. The udon set that i ordered cost $6.90. No service charge at all. the sushi is not bad but the udon could have been better. It would be better if there’s a bigger gap between the tables.

Attracted to the lovely cakes, i went into nydc to try their “i heart you”. It’s a red velvet cake, topped with cream cheese. Am i expecting too much? rather, the appearance is deceiving. The cake is dry and the taste of cheese is too bland. Definitely better choices around. Nice ambience though.

I have a special liking for their pork floss bun. It’s fantastic! Smart alec is pretty good too. this time round, i tried their strawberry crossiant ( not too sure about the actual name) and i’m glad to say that they didn’t disappoint me. Not too sweet and the pastry is gd. Worth trying!

Rochor Beancurd House  (Upper Thomson)

Decided to drop by this beancurd shop for supper after my lesson one day and i must say, i didn’t make the wrong choice! Very nice beancurd. Smooth and silky. Not too sweet nor too plain. It’s worth a try! just don’t get a curry puff to go along with it. It may be too oily and heavy to make a perfect match.
