Mayson's Bakery  OK Dec 07, 2013

Categories : Bakery | Halal

After having body checkup here, I happened to pass by this bakery stall,i was hungry so bought one pie to try, they sell bread, mini puff, egg tart, sandwhiches. I had their chicken pie for $2,they had it in mini size too
The outside was very crispy, a nice butter smell, inside portion not much but not bad. The price a bit expensive, service was great, quite long queue during peak hour.

This stall is located along east coast road, It sells Vietnamese sandwiches which are French influenced.they also sell Vietnamese food like popiah and noodles...but i see mostly order sandwhich so i also ordered their Saigon special sandwich, the bread was extremely cripsy outside yet fluffy and chewy inside, highly recommend this
service was great,as the stall is quite small so hard to find a seat here

Tai Wah Chok Kee Coffee shop OK Dec 07, 2013

Categories : Coffeeshop | Seafood

They recently changed their owner, so we come to try. We had deer meat, oatmeal prawn,"yi ping guo", "suan cai soup" for $60,consider average.

The "suan cai soup" is very nice, very refreshing after eating oily food
"yi ping guo" was disappointed, no taste, very bland, inside also not much ingredient ,mainly mushroom, oat prawn was great, fried till very crispy, even the shell also can be eaten but quite spicy. As we went during dinner time,is quite hard to find a seat here and food waiting took about 15-20mins.

umisushi  Cry Dec 03, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

The previous tenant was Tori Q, but now it has become umi sushi.
They have some sushi but not much to choose from and very expensive, compare to upstair ichiban sushi, umi sushi is much more expensive.

I tried the teriyaki chicken bento and salmon bento, when I tried other japanese bento,it usually come with 2 dishes or with miso and fruits, but umi sushi don't, miso need to pay extra.

One bento only 1 dish, with salad potato and seaweed kind of food,it tasted normal, not authentic japanese but charge so expensive, ask for mayo sauce and they ask me to pay for it... don't think will try again.
