Ice coffee OK Aug 12, 2012

Brought a cup of the ice version of the coffee for lunch during a hot weather.
This cup of ice coffee is well made, nice coffee aroma, has the right amount of sweetness. Not much of the ice is added and the ice coffee is not too diluted and taste nice and refreshing especially during a hot weather. This stall also sells homemade beverage such as the lemon tea, barley and the water chestnut drink. Lastly, service wise is quite fast as the moment you seat down, the staff will automatically approach you and ask you whether you would like to order any drinks.

Brought a cup of the soya bean beverage for lunch.
This cup of soya bean beverage taste normal, the soya bean taste is not too strong, and is a bit bland, sweetness wise is acceptable and is just nice. Other than soya bean drink, this stall also sells the traditional grass jelly drink, tao huay and the grass jelly dessert. Their beverage comes in two different size with the normal and the larger size with price ranging from 60 cents onwards.

Brought a packet of the red bean bun.
The bun is sprinkle with seasme seed and has a very soft texture. The red bean fillings is well mashed, soft and fragrance and sufficient red bean fillings is added in the bun. Other than the normal bun, the traditonal rectangular shape white bread spread with different toppings such as peanut, kaya, butter is another favourite bread that I brought frequently from this bread shop as their bread are very well made which has a soft and spongy texture.

Brought a cup of the traditional milk tea with pearl.
The milk tea is a combination of the red tea added together with the creamer. This cup of milk tea has a nice aroma, the red tea is well cooked as no bitter taste is detected. Sufficient amount of the creamer is added to the red tea and the amount of creamer added is crucial as it will greatly affected the taste of the milk tea. As for the pearl, it has a soft and chewy texture, not too soft and is not overcooked. Prices starting from $1.90 onwards and a wide variety of tea are made available for customer to choose from.

Brought a plate of the mixed vegetable rice for lunch which includes stir fried brinjal, hong shao chicken and the Vermicelli with sliced cucumber. Firstly, the stir fried brinjal has a soft texture, is slighty overcooked. Seasoning wise has a slight sweet taste. As for the hong shao chicken, it is well marinated and seasoning, nice aroma, the chicken is soft and tender, not too hard nor overcooked. Lastly, the Vermicelli with sliced cucumber is a good combination, not too much seasoning is added and the original taste of the food can be tasted. Price is reasonable at $2.80.
