Chicken Cutlet Rice Set OK Nov 20, 2014
Categories : Japanese | Food Court

This stall offers a wide range of Japanese food. I have chosen the chicken cutlet rice set which comes with a salad, as well as the miso soup. The chicken cutlet was well cooked, has a crispy skin and the chicken has a tender texture. Although the chicken cutlet is being deep fried, it does not taste oily. The mayo sauce goes very well with the chicken cutlet. As for the salad, it has a very crunchy texture, very refreshing salad. Lastly, I think that the miso soup is a little too salty for me. But overall, quite a good meal for lunch. smile

Spending per head: Approximately $4(Lunch)

Yong tau foo OK Nov 10, 2013
Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

As usually, yong tau foo for lunch!! Not only does this stall sell yong tau foo, it also sells ban mian, minced meat noodles and others. Hence the yong tau foo items are not as much as other stall that mainly sells yong tau foo. But I still managed to some of my favourite item such as the kangkong, enoki mushroom, yam, chili with fish paste. All the items are sufficiently cooked and the yam is fragrance. As for the soup base, it is full of flavours and goes well with the rice. Lastly, the sauce and the chili is similar to other yong tau foo stall as well. [Review from mobile]

Carrot cake OK Nov 10, 2013

Categories : Hawker Centre

I brought a plate of the black version carrot cake from this stall. From the picture taken, it can be seen that the carrot cake is sliced into equal size and not too small. Garnish wise I think more spring onion can be added. For the taste wise, it is not too salty nor too sweet, not too oily as well. The amount of dark soy sauce is sufficiently added. Overall, it is only an average black carrot cake. Apart from selling carrot cake, this stall also sells fried oyster and fried kway tiao. Lastly, the waiting time is not too long. Chicken rice OK Nov 10, 2013

Categories : Food Court | Chicken Rice

How many different style of chicken rice are there in Singapore? White chicken rice, roasted skin chicken rice, chicken cutlet rice and chicken rice ball. Today I am going to have a try at the chicken cutlet rice from this stall. The chicken cutlet is well deep fried as it has a very nice golden brown color, crispy skin and tender texture on the inside. As for the rice, it is not too fragrance but texture wise is soft, grainy and does not stick together. Overall, it’s just an average chicken cutlet rice. [Review from mobile]

Seafood crispy noodle OK Nov 10, 2013

Categories : Hawker Centre | Steamboat/Hot Pot

Brought a bowl of the seafood crispy noodle which is called the ee mian. The ingredients used are quite basic which includes mini prawn, several slices of fish, fish cake and vegetable. The prawn and the fish used are fresh although the portion given is a bit too little. As for the gravy wise, it is well seasoned and the consistency is there, not too watery. Lastly, the gravy goes well with the crispy noodle. Overall, quite a simple dish and price wise is reasonable as well. [Review from mobile]
