Time for a traditional breakfast set for lunch !! 
Brought the traditional peanut toast with 2 soft boiled egg together with a cup of coffee. The peanut toast is well prepared as it has a light and crispy texture. The peanut spread is also evenly spread and also has a nice aroma. As for the soft boiled egg, it is sufficiently cooked, not too runny. Lastly, the coffee is well brewed, nice aroma and the sweetness level is acceptable. Overall, quite a good traditional breakfast during lunch time. 

Sometimes it is good to try out the western food in kopitiam to compare the food standard with the various cafes in Singapore. Here I am trying out on the chicken chop as well as the chicken wing set from Tenderfresh which is famous for its western food in the neighbourhood. First of all, the chicken chop set look appealing, with a huge serving of the chicken as well as a slice of the garlic bread. The side dish includes coleslaw, baked beans and fries with some seasonings. The chicken chop is well marinated and cooked and also has a tender texture. The seasoning of the sauce is just nice and go very well with the chicken chop. The fries are well deep fried as it has a crispy texture. As for the chicken wing set, the crispiness of the chicken wing can be heard when taking the first bite. The batter is well mixed, not too thick and salty. Lastly, the rice has a light buttery taste which enhance the taste of the chicken wing meal. Overall the price is reasonable and the taste is good as well.    

Brought a plate of the duck hor fun from the famous duck stall Yu Kee. I had been patronising this stall for quite a few times and I can say that the quality of the duck meat is still very consistent. This is the same for this time round. The duck meat is well braised, has a very tender texture. As for the hor fun, I think that it is a little dry. As for the sauce, it is well mixed, not too salty and goes quite well with the hor fun and the duck meat. Last by not least, every duck rice meal should go with their speciality chilli sauce which I personally think it is the best of all duck rice stall that I have eaten. This stall is a must for duck meat lovers !! 

Brought a bowl of the mixed black sesame paste with the peanut paste before heading towards bugis for shopping. First of all, the serving is sufficient for 1 person. The black sesame paste has a smooth texture which means that the black sesame is well grind and processed. Sweetness wise is acceptable. As for the peanut paste, it has a nice peanut aroma which also has a smooth texture and is not too sweet as well. When mixed together, it forms another unique flavour which can't be described. So come down and try for yourself !! Price wise is also quite reasonable at around $1.80 to $2.50. 

With the long queue during lunch period, this means that the food is definitely worth a try. Apart from the traditional ayam penyet chicken set, this stall also offers the fish penyet set, deep fried ebi set as well as the chicken wing set. For their chicken wing set, it comes with a huge slice of the deep fried beancurd as well as some salad to complement on the deep fried food. Their chicken wing is well cooked and marinated. It has a very crunchy and crispy skin and it does not taste oily at all. Well done !! The chicken is fresh and also has a tender texture as well. As for the beancurd, it is not overly deep fried, and a slight crispy outer skin and a soft texture on the inside. At a price of $3, it is definitely worth the money !!
