Brought a plate of the mixed vegetarian food for lunch which includes the vegetarian char siew, tau kee and the stir fried brocoli. Generous portion are given for each dish as most of the rice is being covered. Firstly, the vegetarian char siew has a colour in brown, soft and tender texture and has the same taste as the red char siew. As for the tau kee, it is very well cooked, has a soft and smooth texture and the gravy is well seasoned. Lastly, the stir fried brocoli has a homecooked taste, sufficient cooked and a crunchy texture. A three dish mixed vegetarian food only cost $2.50 and is very reasonable and food taste good as well.

Chee kueh Smile Sep 06, 2012

Brought a set of the four pieces chee kueh as brunch.
The chee kueh has a nice mini dome shape, well made as it has a soft and spongy texture. As the chee kueh has a bland taste, it is accompanied and eaten with the chai pok. The chai pok from this stall has a nice fragrance, crunchy and finely chopped texture, not too salty and goes very well with the chee kueh and lastly it is quite oily. Price starting from $1 for four pieces to $2 for eight pieces.

Brought a packet of their lunch set which consist of the bee hoon, otah, fish cake, fish fillet and some ikan bills with peanut. The bee hoon is well cooked, well seasoned, has a soft texture and is not too oily. As for the otah, it has a nice fish aroma, mild spicy and a soft texture. As for the other dishes such as the fish cake and the fish fillet, it is sufficiently cooked and taste fresh. As for their chili sauce, it has a mild sweet and not too spicy taste and goes well with the bee hoon. Prices starts from $3 depending on the amount of food chosen.

Spiced Chicken Wings OK Sep 02, 2012

Categories : Hawker Centre | Kids-Friendly

This shop is currently having a promotion during lunch hours from 12pm to 2pm daily which consist of two different flavours of the chicken wings, one side dish (fries or nacho) and a drink for just $5.50.
I have chosen the cheese and tom yum flavour for the chicken wings, fries for the side and a can of the A&W root beer. The chicken wings are very well deep fried, has a crispy batter and a soft and tender texture. As for the seasoning wise, the cheese flavour has a stronger taste than the tom yum, not too salty and the tom yum is not that spicy as well. As for the fries, it has a slightly thicker texture as compared to others stall and is lightly seasoned with salt.

Mixed Vegetable Rice  OK Sep 02, 2012
Categories : Food Court

Brought a plate of the mixed vegetable rice for lunch which includes dishes like the hong shao chicken, stir fried long beans and the stir fried potato. For the hong shao chicken, the marination is not that sufficient as the taste of the hong shao flavour is not too strong and aromatic. The chicken is well cooked, has a soft and tender texture. The stir fried long beans is sufficiently cooked, well seasoned and has a crunchy texture. Lastly, the stir fried potato has a homecooked food taste. Each potato is equally cut, well seasoned and has a soft texture. Overall, the food is quite tasty and the price is reasonable at $2.90 for two vegetable and one meat.
