Chicken hot dog bread Smile Jul 16, 2013

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Food Court

This is one of my favourite stalls when I was still schooling. I liked the deep fried bread with the juicy hot dog in it! Especially when it was served hot (it turns a bit soggy when it was cold). It was crispy and every bites there were be some breadcrumbs dropping out from the bread. There is also a slight butter taste too. Another thing i like is when it goes with the thick and spicy chili sauce, it never fails to wake me up in class! Lastly, each hot dog bread only costs 50cents! What a good deal!

Teh peng Smile Jul 14, 2013

This is the best Tea peng (ice tea) you are able to find in Singapore Polytechnic. The thickness and the creaminess of the tea was so wonderful that you will want to have more after drinking it. One thing you will definitely enjoy is that it is not too sweet, yet with the strong taste of tea, best of all, it was not very expensive, the small cup only costs $1 because it was selling at campus rate! So do drop by if you had time for this wonderful teh peng! smile

Kaya Waffles Cry Jul 14, 2013

Categories : Bakery | Halal

This waffle is very disappointing. They actually pre-made the waffle beforehand and heat it when the customer want it. Thus, making the texture weird; crispy on the outside but the inside was very soggy! The kaya they spread on my waffles was too little, all i taste was the floury waffles with soggy texture. The store assistant looks very reluctant to serve the customers which upset me more! sad The waffle costs $1.30 for kaya fillings.

Kway chap Smile Jul 14, 2013

This is the kway chap that is impossible to be found in singapore anymore, according to what my grandparents told me. Thus, that day i decided to try it out myself. The kuay was very soft and sliky, the soup was another things i liked, which had very strong very herbal taste. One thing special about their store is they provided customers with preserved vegetable which other don't.
Lastly, i think the pig's instestine is one of the best i had ever eaten, it is soft and break easily after chewing! The best part is that there is "pig's taste" at all! smile

Menban Yamagishi Kazuo Smile Jul 14, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Ramen

I had tried the Menban Yamagishi Kazuo in Changi airport 3 today, it was awesome! The noodles was springy, chewy and soft. I like the meat the most, there is a little fats while makes it chewy and the meat wasn't too hard for biting. The soup based was another thing that it nice, it was savoury however, i think i will prefer it without pepper, it makes the soup a bit spicy! On top of that, the electronic machine will ring to ask to collect the food, so that you wait on your seats and chit chat with your friends while waiting, rather than standing beside the store! I realise that the workers are all foreigners (Japanese in major), i think their attitude and service are way better! smile Making me very comfortable! smile
