Newly open ikkousha Smile Jul 04, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen

Well, this is the one day promotion at Ramen Champion as there are 3 newly opened stalls. Each stall will have one selected ramen at 50% off! Well, i choose the IKKOUSHA stall (located at the end of ramen champion). I ordered the promotional items at 50% off, so after gst and service charges costs $7.20.
I liked the soup based the most, it is very thick and i believed it had been cooked with ingredients and i also believed that it is also rich in nutrients! smile On top of that, it is non-spicy, suitable for children (which the other 2 stalls promotion are all spicy items). The noodles is springy and the egg was another thing which makes the ramen so prefect! The inner is soft and the outer is hard! However, they only give 1 slices of meat in the bowl, I wondered if it was due to the promotion, or new rule, but I remembered I had 2 the last time!

Ramen keisuke Smile Jul 02, 2013

I went to this really special restaurant for ramen. They allowed customers to choose the oil you want for your ramen and I chose the normal amount! smile I kind of like the ramen as it was so soft to bite on however, i dislike the taste of the soup as it was too salty for my Original Tori King Ramen! sad

The big chicken drumstick was another thing I liked about this stall! It was so awesome! The meat was very tender and soft to bite on and it was so well marinated! smile

Potato and nacho cheese Smile Jul 02, 2013

I bought this potato and nacho cheese bun from freshly baked pastries and buns today and I find it really awesome! Look into the 'hole' you are able to see thick layer of cheese in it! The potato is also nice as it was well baked and inside. No one can beat the taste of it! smile The bun was also very soft so i guess it was fresh baked and it wasn't very expensive (costs $1.40 only)!

Worst fried rice Cry Jul 02, 2013
Categories : Hawker Centre

This is the worse fried rice I ever had in my life! The waiting time was 15mins and the reason why it was so long is because there is only 1 person manning the whole stall and they are selling far too many kind of food items. For example, they were selling carrot cake and fried rice. It is so uncommon for a stall to sell so many stuff especially it is not a restaurant!

I actually rushed the boss a little because I was late for work and all I got is a scolding from him! Well, if he doesn't have enough help, he should enlist more and not scold his customers. huffy

The char siew fried rice was so awful and salty. It tasted like 1 whole bowl of salt was been added to the fried rice and the rice was so hard to chew on! The char siew was actually vegetarian char siew which was not indicated on the signboard. I was so upset that I cannot continue eating this fried rice! huffy

Pig's kidney and liver mee sua Smile Jul 02, 2013

Categories : Hawker Centre

Well, i had cravings for mee sua and ordered this pig's kidney and liver mee sua at Bedok Food Centre! smile It was seriously very salty. But I can't deny the fact that it was well cooked. The mee sua was very soft but not soggy and the pig's liver was just right (no blood on it and it wasn't too hard). The pig's kidney was the best, soft to bite on and was very juicy. They also added tao pok to it which not many stall had it. It costs $4.50 in total and it is also very easy to spot the stall because there was a yummy king poster on it! smile
