It has been more than 5 years since I dine in at swensen. It was till recently I dine in there because of my friend The price was around $10 plus plus, it is really worth the value for three big pieces of chicken. The chicken is juicy inside and crispy on the outside. The coleslaw was average, could be better, overall, food wasn't too bad but their service is rather slow....

Jcube has been quite the hot spot to go to since it just opened. Eat @ taipei has a nice view where you can eat and enjoy seeing people ice skating. I orders the sweet potato fries and spring onion pancake. The sweet potato fries are sweet, not dry and with the complementary of the sour plum powder, it really brings out the taste of the sweet potato fries. Whereas for the spring onion pancake, it wasn't too oil and it was thin and crispy. Worth to try dining at there though, as the prices are rather reasonable.

Coco Ichibanya is a newly opened restaurant. I tried the creamy mushroom omelette about $12++. The food was served hot and the curry is not too spicy, slightly peppery and sweet. However, inside the omelette is just plain rice, I was hoping that it would be like fried rice or something else. The service is average, they took a long time to entertain me.

This stall sells the fried banana of different sizes, small, medium and large and many other fried stuff. The crust of the fried banana is very flaky and the banana is very ripe and sweet(too slimy for me). As you can see from the picture, the crust is rather dark, than the desired golden brown colour(either they over fry it or they never change the oil).

Gogo Beanz beancurd is really to die for! Is is silk smooth in texture and they do not add too much sugar syrup. There are many varieties of beancurd to choose. With the competitive market today, sellers are pushing their limits to come up with new flavours to attract customers.
