First time dining alone at Soup Spoon. The restaurant serve wide variety of soups ,sandwiches , main courses etc. The environment of the restaurant is spacious, cosy. Ordered the mushroom soup which came with a piece of bread and the smoked salmon sandwich. The soup was thick , creamy and while you eat there is a tiny bit of mushroom. The smoked salmon sandwich , the bread texture is too thick , but the smoked salmon taste tender and well marinated.

Back again to Long Beach Seafood Restaurant for their famous chilli crabs and other dishes

The Restaurant was almost fully packed and we waited around 20 min before we can enter to get a seat

We ordered their Chilli Crabs , Mantou , You Char Kway With Sotong , Steamed Grouper etc

I liked the chilli crabs as normal due the spicyness of the gravy and the freshness of the crabs and the flesh of the crabs fully absorbed the gravy . And with the crispy on the outer side and inner softness of the mantou when dip in the gravy taste delicious

The You Char Kway is crispy and the sotong is chewy with mayo sauce

The Steamed Groupon is well cooked with the sauce and taste fresh and juicy

Recommendation by colleague to try out this Japanese restaurant due to their wide range of dishes , set meals etc. The restaurant is well deco and welcome by the staff once entering the place , the seat is cosy and the place is spacious.

We ordered 2 set of Buta Shio Koji jyu @S$23.50 for set meal. The grilled pork loin marinated with shio koji sauce and served with potatoes and vegetables. The pork loin is tender and the meat is juicy as well. The chawanmushi that came with the set , the texture is smooth and melt in your mouth . The broth is a bit salty.

after finishing shopping with my mum feeling thirsty , we saw a stall selling health drinks whereby depend on individual whether they want to beautify , purify , soothe their body drinks and it was economical price

so we decided to try it out . The drinks serve in 2 type of sizes you can choose whether to upsize

We ordered calamansi carnival which consist of Calamansi + Yakult + Honey + Kanten Balls and it can purify and beatify your health , the drink is soothing , sour and the kanten balls is so chewy and not sweet at all .

Ordered mango a-go-go as well which consist of Mango + Pomelo and it can beautify and invigorate your health , the drink is quite nice whereby you can taste bits of mango and pomelo and the drink is cooling

Yummi bites Smile Dec 19, 2013

After knocking out from work , passes by a snack kiosk at bugis junction , attract by the smell and wide variety of choice for finger foods , i decided to buy some back home. The store sell goreng pisa , durian fritters, jackfruit fritters , nian gao , crispy tofu etc. I bought some goreng pisa , crispy tofu , sweet potatoes , green bean. The goreng pisa is crispy on the outer layer and soft and sweet with the banana inner and it is not oily. The crispy tofu is crunchy and soft inner whereby it melt without much biting but taste a bit bland whereby you need to dip some sauce.
