Simply awesome!
Other flavours are calling out to us too…

Super damn love the curry puff here^^
All the other curry puffs I tried from other stalls can never replace the ones from old chang kee;DHere at old chang kee, the curry puff skin is always crispy and the thickness is just right, could nicely taste the fried taste.

The curry filling in it was simply remarkable, not too spicy and is full of flavour.(:
Ingredients include potatoes, chicken and quarter of hard boil egg;D
It is delicious, such that I could not find any words that could fully describe how well it tastes.
$1.30 for a yummy curry puff that can nicely satisfy craves for food, definitely worth it!;D

The first time I get to taste it was on my nephew’s first month where my cousin ordered from here for part of the buffet.(:

Was pretty surprised when I saw the buffet, as I have never tried having thai catering buffet before.(:
I am simply awed by almost all of their dishes, especially the mango salad and tom yam soup^^The mango salad was marinated with lots of ingredients such that it gives a strong taste, and despite of that, the mango taste is retained within;DAs for the thai seafood tom yam soup, it was totally ‘thumbs up’ for it! Lost count how many bowls of it I actually had that evening:x
Even all my relatives were singing praises for it.
The flavour was really rich and it is sweet, sour and spicy all at the same time, but yet the flavour was so moderate and tasty.
There are also a generous lot of seafood such as fish balls and prawns are added in the soup;D
We totally emptied the whole pot of the soup and were still craving for more. The flavour even lingers in our mouth;DAnd of cause, not forgetting to mention, all the other dishes were fantastic too.(:

And this time, we ordered from them again for celebrating two of my aunts and my cousin’s birthday together.(:
Although we ordered their easy pack menu A, a mini buffet with no set up, their service was excellent^^
The delivery man help us to set all the dishes on our home table, added the gravy etc. for us, and the attitude was remarkable;D

Just when me and my bf could not decide what to have for dinner, we saw Hot Tomato and decided to try it since we have yet to.
We ordered the salmon linguini and prawn spaghetti aglio olio.
Initially we thought that it would be in a small portion as the price was considered quite low as compared to other similar restaurants.
But we’re glad it isn’t so, instead the servings were just right for us.

Just by adding $2.90 we get to enjoy their soup of the day and a garlic bread
We are pretty satisfied with the food and service, we’ll definitely return for the second time.(:

Its dinner time but we managed to get a table in less than 5 minutes ;D

We have to place our order at the counter before entering now and I decided on the Teriyaki Grilled Chicken Chop.I also added the complete set meal with soup-of-the-day and ice lemon tea.

It has been quite a while since I last dined here and the menu has changed.

The price has gone up since last time but it is still affordable and lower compared to some other restaurants, and I love the food there ;DThe soup-of-the-day is the tomato soup. It is not too sour and is fresh and quite thick.

The garlic toast is crispy and goes well with the tomato soup.The grilled chicken came with the spaghetti and a small serving of lettuce.

The chicken is nicely cooked…tender and soft, and there is quite a strong grilled fragrant taste within the chicken meat.

The chicken skin is also nicely grilled that it is crispy and nice to have it together with the chicken without having to remove it.The teriyaki flavor simply came from the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, which is not too salty or sweet.

It goes well with the chicken and gives a mixture of the strong grilled taste as well as a touch of teriyaki flavor.The aglio olio spaghetti is fragrant and has quite a strong taste of the herbs & spices, and the chopped garlic.

It is quite oily though, but the oil used is the olive oil so it’s healthier ;D

The salad vegetables taste quite plain though. There isn’t any sauce to go with.

Nonetheless, the lettuces are fresh and sweet.

The flavor is just right and the whole dish tastes really nice and delicious. It is really worth it for the price and the portion is acceptable.

Total main dish we ordered is three with one meal upgrade costing $3.50, the total bill is around $35, which is relatively low for restaurant western cuisine ;D
So I always loved dining at Hot Tomato for it's affordable and fragrantly delicious meal
