We bought this strawberry shortcake as a birthday cake for our friend which costs $26.It was our first time trying four leaves strawberry shortcake and glad it taste quite nice ;D

It was quite creamy and oily though, but I liked the freshness of the strawberries coupled with the spongy chiffon cake and the nice tasting whipped cream.

The cake is soft and complemented with rich strawberry sweetness.

There’s quite a thick layer of whipped cream over the chiffon cake layer but there’s no need to be afraid though, cause it tastes fresh and not too sweet.

The strawberries used are not too sour too ;DThe portion is also just right for four persons and great size for a mini birthday surprise celebration

Tried the grilled fish dory set this time round.The soup of the day is tomato soup. The colour of it is orange and it is a little sour.

The grilled fish was served a while later and the portion looks acceptable.The fish is quite fresh and juicy.

It is also topped with some condiments that taste like fried onions and it goes well with the grilled fish. I guess that is to remove the fishy taste of the fish. It also enhances the overall look of the grilled fish dish.

The fish is not too salty and the flavor is just right ;D

What I dislike about the grilled fish is that it breaks into small pieces when cut and makes it difficult to eat it.

The fries are crispy and has quite a strong potato taste, a little salty though.This time the set meal dessert we got is half a peach. It is actually the kind of cocktail peach and tastes sweet.

It is $9.80 nett for a grilled fish set, which is quite worth it ;D

First time dining at this Japanese restaurant and the items on the menu looks really nice and delicious ;D

The price is expensive though, so I decided to have their signature shokudo carbonara pasta which costs $12.80++.It looks really appetizing in the picture with a half raw sunny side up topped on the spaghetti.

Placed our orders and also requested for 3 cups of plain water but we were told that a cup of warm water costs $0.50.

Was quite surprised with this as it normally costs $0.30 but this is almost double the price. We decided not to order the 3 cups of water.

The food took quite some time to arrive and when it arrived, my carbonara pasta is warm.The sauce is really generous and it tastes milky and creamy. The egg on it is similar to as shown on the picture, half raw. And I mixed it with the spaghetti ;D

It is miso cream sauce and it does have quite a strong taste of miso. Personally I really liked it since I’m a miso lover ^^
However the dish turns cold shortly after.

The amount of bacon is not a lot though, and it is not very worth the price afterall.

I would probably try out other dishes the next time. After GST and service charges, it is about $15.

Was craving for some chicken rice and this was the first stall I saw.

It is $3.50 for a plate of chicken rice with egg. I was quite surprised at the presentation as it looks completely different from the normal chicken rice.

It was presented in a more pleasant and appetizing way with more colours added to the chicken rice.

Other than the standard cucumbers found in chicken rice, there is also half a cherry tomato topped on the plate of chicken rice in the middle.

Furthermore the sauce used is of a different colour and there is also the bean sprout and another kind of vegetables included.

Even the egg added looks really different too.First tried was the soup and it taste peppery, quite similar to bak kut teh.

The chicken rice itself tasted a bit weird though. Probably too much is added to the chicken rice which made the whole dish taste weird?

The rice with the sauce is more like rice with light soya sauce. The chicken is quite tender though and taste nice.But have got to say the side ingredients do not really go well with the whole dish.

The egg we added is a little weird too :/

Overall the chicken rice is really creative and special but it does not complements the whole dish.

As usual, the food came in less than 5 minutes.It is warm and the tomato sauce topped on the spaghetti is generous. The tomato is a little sweet and not sour.

It is not too salty and taste pretty simple.The prawn breading is not very crispy though, but the prawn is quite fresh and nice ;D

The overall portion is just right and leaves space for the free flow of ice cream and drinks.

There is more variety of ice cream flavours that day and we are excited to see green tea flavoured ice cream which we hardly see it at just acia.The green tea ice cream is quite milky and the green tea taste is not strong enough. Nonetheless, it is still worth having.

What we really liked was the lime sherbet ice cream. It is sour and refreshing, great for an after meal treat ^^

It is worth it to dine at just acia as majority of their dishes are of at least average standard and it costs about an average of $8-9.
