I went to open house for their buffet with some of my colleagues after work. Their buffet here does not focus on seafood but more on cooked food, claypots and pizza. There were quite a lot of different kinds of claypots. The stew beef ad braised toufu claypot is a must try. Do remember to order the pizza upon reaching cos they take time to prepare and if there is a crowd then the wait would be pretty long. The mee soto there is really good. the broth is really rich and thick. It is very flavourful as well.

My hubby and I went to old town white coffee for dinner. I ordered their wanton noodles. The wanton noodles at old town is really good. the noodles is very crunchy and springy. It was cooked perfectly, not overcooked. The wanton is placed in a bowl of soup. the soup is just so tasty. it taste a little sweet, a little salty. The wanton was the fried kind but it went well with the soup. it was pretty filling indeed.

Manhattan fish market was having some lunch promotion set meal so on my day off, my kids and I headed to give it a try. Their set meal was pretty cheap, they have a light and regular version. My daughter and I took the light version while my son opted for the regular version. I ordered the fulton fish wrap. The fish wrap was served with some salad. The vegetables were very fresh and crisp. The fish was deep fried till very crispy. It was kind of filling for me. when they served the soup, I was kind of glad that it was not the creamy ones. It was actually those clear seafood broth. The soup was very tasty. it was one of the best soups I had at manhattan fish market.

i accompanied my in-laws for their groceries shopping at limbang market. My mother in law stopped by lao er tau huay and got us a couple of bowls of the original tau huay. The tau huay here was pretty good actually. I preferred the chilled ones. It was very refreshing, I like the strong soya bean flavor. the soya bean curd is so smooth. Upon reaching your mouth, it simply disintegrates. It was really very refreshing dessert on a hot day.

i went to lao Beijing with my hubby for the hi tea dim sum buffet. the variety there was pretty good, there were also food. You can go there without eating lunch and be really full as there were a couple of main course like fried kway teow and zha jiang mian. The siew mai there was not too bad, it was pretty juicy. there were also those fried section too. it was nice of them to provide mayo to you with the fried food.
