I had a coupon for a complimentary single scoop ice-cream which expires by the end of this month. Seeing as the end of the month is tomorrow, I decided to utilise my coupon today. I went for the hazelnut ice cream which was quite nice, I would say one of the better flavours in Swensen. If only they had added some crushed hazelnuts with the ice cream, it would be better.

Surprisingly for a holiday, the restaurant is quite empty, but that is probably because I went at 3pm which is after lunch hours.

I remembered eating this back in the past for my breakfast and it is good to know that they still maintain the quality of their food. Instead of getting the char siew pau, I got the char siew sou instead. The char siew used is like the HK style char siew which is more brownish than reddish. It is both sweet and a little salty. The pastry is also quite thin which means more char siew. Worth it!

There is always a queue whenever I pass by and seeing as there is only 1 person queueing, I decided to get one 'boat' of takoyaki. I got mine in less than 2 mintues of queueing. I like the crispy outer crust and more importantly, the fresh tako inside. They are also generous with the fish flakes, which adds more flavour to the tako ball.

I got one of these swiss rolls to work during the weekend since I am working overtime. As it was quite early in the morning, the shop has just opened and I am their only customer. The Swiss roll I got is more spongy than I expected but still tasty. Good choice for those who likes lighter cakes.

My gf suggested going to Frolick and there we are. I have never tried it before, and I was surprised at how good it is. Although we got the plain flavour, it is very refreshing and sweet tasting on its own. As we had a coupon, we added the coco crunch topping and the crunchy coco cereals added some chocolately flavour to the yogurt when you eat it together with the yogurt.
