I am a fan of japanese cuisine and I like going to Ichiban for my fix of japanese food. This is the lobster salad sushi that I frequently order. I like it for its freshness as well as the seasoning that goes into the lobster sushi. Although the sushis here are more pricey than those of Sakae, their sushi is really of a better standard.

I got this kid's set for my younger cousin while his parents are queuing to pay for their purchases. If I remember correctly, it costs $2.90, which is quite reasonable. For myself, I got a cup of tea. As it was a weekend, it was very crowded and I had to wait for around 10minutes before I could get a seat. Food at Ikea is simple and fuss free which is why so many people flock here after shopping in Ikea.

As my dining partner liked Thai food, we decided to dine in at Ah Loy Thai. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, which is very very fragrent. I love how the ingredients are added to make each and every mouthful a delight, with the myraid of tastes - salty, sweet(raisins) and a little sour sweet (pineapples). However, the restaurant is far too cramed in my opinion. The conversations at the tables beside us are very within earshot, since the tables are around half an arm's length away.

There is always a queue whenever I pass by and seeing as there is only 1 person queueing, I decided to get one 'boat' of takoyaki. I got mine in less than 2 mintues of queueing. I like the crispy outer crust and more importantly, the fresh tako inside. They are also generous with the fish flakes, which adds more flavour to the tako ball.

Was here together with my friend for a tea time snack after a movie. I ordered just the half boiled eggs while my friend got the full set of toast and drink. The yolks are still very runny which is the way I like it. I usually add the black sauce and some pepper to it before gulping it down in one mouthful.
