Too sweet Cry Sep 29, 2011

Categories : Western Variety | Kids-Friendly

This Almond Cake was on a half price promotion and it's Swedish so I had quite high expectations but ah, definitely didn't live up to it. The first few bites were still okay, but it is really so sweet that I got sick of it after having just slightly more than half of it - I rarely waste food in this manner. Drank a lot of water while eating it as well but it didn't help. Will go for their Daim cake instead the next time.

Uh, no Cry Sep 28, 2011

Ordered this out of convenience a month ago, and honestly, I wasn't satisfied. The pearls are PLENTY, similar to Eskimos', not as chewy. The milk tea itself is not as tasty, don't think it's worth the same price as Koi; would much rather queue and pay for the latter. Heard from my friend who overheard the conversations among the workers there and it felt like they aren't too familiar with the drinks? Like they had to remind each other what to add, and they redid some orders too.

Disappointed Cry Sep 22, 2011

Read some reviews on B Bakery and expected some nice food there - especially this Hummus Platter which I ordered without second thoughts. Ah, how disappointing. It's basically boiled vegetables that are tasteless. Serious. I doubt people who are sick are even willing to eat this. Paying more than 10+ bucks for this still pains me till this day hurhur.. But the Cinnamon bun is really worth a try though, made up for the previous disppointment. Remember to go there earlier for the bun cause it sells out pretty fast!

Slightly disappointed OK Sep 30, 2011

Went there with a friend with hopes of having a set of authentic Peranakan food and well, slightly disappointed. Firstly, I totally didn't expect them to serve their food in such a manner lol. The vegetables are pretty ordinary, though the chicken is quite nice; it's sweet. The soup seems to have a little too much pepper added while the Water Chestnut just taste like one from a can. And don't expect much from the dessert, it's just a really - really - mini bowl of Black Glutinous Rice ( Bubor Hitam ).

I'll only go back again when I'm really hungry before going for my tuition ha.

Apple Strudel OK Sep 30, 2011

Categories : Bakery

This is probably the most popular apple strudels in Singapore, hence, it is one of my must-tries. Ordered the mini apple strudel to eat there, and the strudel itself is nice indeed, and the sweet cream, just that I expected the pieces of apple inside to be sweet not sour lol, would have enjoyed finishing the whole mini if they were sweet~

Ah and the auntie is quite forceful in terms of ordering, and got kind of impatient as I looked at the other strudels available like that of durian. Better be quick!
