Cuppycakes galore! Smile Mar 29, 2012

If you like gourmet cupcakes, this is the right place for you. Over here, they have a complete variety of interesting flavours, that are sure to tickle your tastebuds. I have tried their peanut butter and jelly cupcake before, and it was heavenly, the peanut butter wasn't too thick, and when combined with moistness of the chocolate cupcake, it is perfect! This time, I had a cappuccino cupcake, which had the aroma of coffee, and even was topped with a coffee bean atop the cupcake frosting. I think at $3, the cupcakes are pretty worth it, and it's nice to give yourself a sweet treat once in a while smile

Visited IKEA a few weeks ago with my mum, and we were there early, as they were having a promo of $1 pancakes for members, and we decided to try it out. I must say, it is very worth the offer, as the pancakes were soft and fluffy, and the maple syrup that came with it was absolutely lovely, tasted really great with the warmth of the pancakes. I also had hot tea with them, and it was a pleasant breakfast.

Popiah & Tofu goreng OK Mar 29, 2012   (Related Review)

Visited this outlet just several days ago with my friends, and we were looking for a place that serves up mid-day snacks. We ordered popiah & tofu goreng. The popiah was okay, nothing fantastic, but I liked the chestnut that is found in the fillings of the popiah. The tofu goreng was good, as I liked the spicy peanut sauce, and it gave the tofu more aroma, and it was finished in no time lol

Nasi lemak and Singaporean faves Smile Mar 29, 2012

Came here several weeks ago with my family, and I ordered nasi lemak, which consisted of coconut rice, otah, chicken cutlet, egg, condiments and fried fish fillet. The rice was quite fragrant, and the otah wasn't too spicy, the chicken cutlet was soggy, so I wouldn't recommend that, the egg was okay, and the fish fillet was good. I would recommend all their nasi lemak, since they have quite a variation of the dish. I also had chrysanthemum tea (iced), which was good, as it wasn't too sweet.

Laksa  Smile Mar 29, 2012

Ordered laksa from this stall in the morning, and it was piping hot, and looked appetising.

Prawns, fishcake, beansprouts, beancurd skin and garnishing was all great, and the noodles were slurp-licious lol The gravy is good, as it isn't too spicy for my liking, and wasn't oily too. I think that the price is worth it, but if you're very hungry, I think you have to order additional items, as the portion isn't that big.
